Review Notes: This is the last Corojo from a sampler I got about a year and a half ago (old wrapper). The others were harsh and too peppery for me, but I smoked those right away. A little rest has really mellowed this one. The wrapper looks more dry than oily, and it feels just a tad under-filled. It did go out once early in the smoke. That doesn't take away from the excellent taste and aroma. After the initial lite I tasted freshly baked bread and nuts, a wonderful surprise. By the end of the first third it's more woody with a sweet finish, but the bread is still there in the background. The ash is firm and the burn is sharp and even with an excellent draw. Midway I taste a sweet spice on the front of my tongue and the inside of my lips. This is the most dramatic effect age has had on a cigar for me. I've had much older cigars, but I mean this baby improved tremendously in only a short time. Up until now my impression of Camacho is their emphasis on strength with flavor an afterthought. But the flavor is the best thing about this cigar. Clearly they're working with high quality tobacco. I need to rethink my opinion of Camacho. Later there's some mild pepper with a woody taste, perhaps cedar. Even down to the nub there's no bitterness, just sweet Corojo flavor. An excellent smoking experience. Perhaps I need to get a box to put away for a few years.

Review Notes: Where do I even begin... The flavor of this corojo is the best I have ever smoked period! This cigar left me in a drooling stupor of relaxation. A true taste of luxury and perfection... Tastes of sweet wood, coffee, leather, and pepper... Looking forward to trying more of Camacho's line of cigars...

Review Notes: 1/3 of this stick had thick creamy smoke but no flavor to speak of. The ash was strong and the construction was nice. It finished strong with spice and pepper. Could do with some aging.

Review Notes: Smoked this after a couple of years in the humi (nice to see the old band again too). This cigar mellows with age - it is still very strong but it sneaks up on you rather than blasts you away. Aroma was sublime and flavor was sweet and woody. Follow my advice and put some away.
