"Have you ever tackled a bear before? :)"

Review Notes: If cigar were animals this would be kodiak grizzly. Or as Russians say: making love to a bear is fun but scary :) It is not a pretty stick, not particularly well constructed. You may experience some burn problems, it will need some relight. Taste is great, rounded, not harsh at all, but rather even. This stick is VERY potent. Will knock you out so watch out! Smoke is thick, creamy and tones of it. Overall good, full bodied and strong cigar if you are not annoyed but some burn inconsistences. On the plus, if you are a quick smoker, you will like this one too, because it does not get hot/harsh easily and only then will stay lit.

"Very impressed"

Review Notes: I've been a serious smoker for about a year, smoking and experiencing well-respected cigars. As a relative novice, I hadn't heard of the Camacho Corojo when I was given a three-pack as a gift at an outing. I smoked this robusto on a hot summer evening. Lighting was easy and even due to the near perfect draw. The first quarter of the cigar was pleasant; it was strong, but not overbearing. I wanted to smoke it slow, and the cigar allowed me to do that. Taste was good; crisp and summery. I drank nothing with the cigar, yet I was left with a smooth, relatively dry pallet. That was perhaps the most impressive attribute. It's a treat when a cigar doesn't leave you spitting like a camel. My only complaint is that the cigar began to burn inside out near the band, but the finish was still a great taste. Appropriate strength. A+ cigar.

"I'm in love"

Review Notes: One of the best robustos I've found lately. And a great price for the taste. These are bordering on strong, full flavored, but keep smooth enough throughout to make you want more. Hints of sweetness followed by some charred flavors--makes it interesting. At times I feel like it's going to be strong then it smooths again. Can't say it's as strong as some say--but definitely enough. Well constructed and consistent. Camacho is growing on me and this is the best corojo I've had so far. Definitely worth several tries and perhaps a permanent home in the humidor. BTW--celo wrapped is best. That wrapper loses taste when aired or in with a lot of other sticks.

"Best N/C cigar made"

Review Notes: I have smoked 3 boxes of these and they are the best N/C cigar made. You cant beat the price either. This is the first and only non-cuban I have had that even somewhat resembles the richness and complexity of a cuban cigar. The construction is better than most cubans, excluding EL's. I love the uniform roll and the slightly flattened cap. They burn perfect every time for me. They are decent fresh out of the box but give em 6 months or a year in the humidor and then dry box them at 65 or so. You will have one hell of a smoke on your hands. I discovered the dry box thing by accident. In a pinch you can just leave them out for a few hours. The 11/18, 07/05, and the diploma are the only ones that compare to this and they are also 100% corojo made by camacho. I highly recommend these to any SEASONED cigar smoker. I hated these as a noob. To the guy who likes gran habanos better - you are nuts. I have smoked several boxes of each and although the GH corojo no 5 is a good smoke, this one beats it by a mile!

"Let down again"

Review Notes: Nearly all of the dozen or so Camachos I have had behaved the same way. They start out wonderfully. At the halfway point, the burn becomes uneven, the cigar needs constant relighting and the flavor disentegrates. I keep hoping they will change it's way. It hasn't happened yet.
