"Can you handle it?"

Review Notes: The first third of this beast is full-flavored, but relatively tame. Up front I noticed a sweet cereal taste and a salty aftertaste, but itís surprisingly smooth. Full flavored, absolutely, but with no harshness. After an inch or so I ran into the problem that everyone speaks of: it really does not want to burn evenly. I struggled with the burn throughout the length of this stick and had to correct it every ten minutes, which is usually enough to make me throw out what Iím smoking and head to the humi for another one. But after after this just about any other cigar would taste like slightly warmish air. At the mid-point the power of this cigar is at full tilt. The aroma is rich and heady, almost sulfurous, and the flavor is incredibly complex with leather, pepper and sweet tobacco. The aftertaste is earthy and lingering with a very long finish. About half an inch into the two-thirds section, after the bulbous part was nearly consumed, this cigar threw me aside like an old dish rag. It loses any semblance of complexity at this point to sheer power. This cigar is for serious heavyweights only -- I was able to appreciate it up to a point, but then it threw me from the ring. Great cigar if you can handle it.

"Good cigar, bad burn"

Review Notes: I am not a big fan of Camacho's regular corojo line but the 11/18 is definitely one of their better ones. Has a real rustic, almost oscuro wrapper with a strong earthy, spicy and salty taste. This is a very strong cigar. If you like to get buzzed off cigars, this one will not dissapoint. What DID dissapoint me is the severe tunneling and re-lighting problems I had to go through with this cigar. Would not stay lit for more than a few minutes; I don't think I've ever seen it this bad in a cigar. After the fourth re-light (and I torched the thing), it went out again and I just gave up. It was humidified properly so I don't know what's up with this cigar. I suggest maybe making a big cut with this one and really light the foot up and maybe the problem wouldn't be as bad. Overall a good cigar sort of ruined by the burn problems.

Review Notes: Man what a stick, full of smoke. This is the real deal, earthy, leather and coco flavors. It burned even and lasted an hour. Well worth the 8 bucks. Highly Recomended!

Review Notes: Camacho does corojo very well. The 11/18 is at the head of its class. Great full bodied, spicy and complex smoke. Well made, good looking and very tasty cigars.

"A Great Smoke"

Review Notes: A dark reddish/brown corojo wrapper with an intriguing bulbous shape, this cigar just begs to be lit. It lights easily and burns and draws well. The taste profile is wonderfully complex, with notes of pepper and spice and a wonderfully sweet caramel taste that lingers in your mouth upon release. This stick provides the smoker with mouthfuls of this incredibly complex smoke. Goes great with aged bourbon. I made the mistake of smoking one of these on an empty stomach once and I was sick for about 45 minutes. So the caveat applies--eat before smoking!
