"Like the weather in Buffalo, NY."

Review Notes: If you don't like the weather in Buffalo...wait 10 minutes and it will change. If you don't like the flavors in this cigar wait...they'll change. Lots of amazing flavors in here from floral, to mocha, to leather, to coffee, to nuts, to vanilla. What seems to be the achilles heel in these is the construction. This one was fine...always going to have a bit of an uneven burn with a ring this large...but they do run soft and can get mushy at the end. Take it easy with these and go slow, so, like Ashman says, you'll get flavor(s) not heat. Nab a fiver of these on the cheap from c-bid, let em rest for about 9 months, and I think you'll be happy. I had 2 years of box time on mine and paid about $1.50. A thoroughly enjoyable cigar for me.

"A Very Good Value"

Review Notes: Bought a couple of mazos at an auction and so far have only smoked 3, but that was enough to satisfy me my 1.70 was well spent. Construction and burn were both good with the only flaw being some large veins in the wrapper, but personally it didn't bother me in the least. Imagine that. I would rate it as mild to medium in strength and it should be interesting to see what effect a few month's additional age will have. I could find no distinct or overpowering individual flavor, which from my standpoint was good. Basically a very good smoke for the money, which hopefully should get even better with age. Smoking time was a little over an hour. Wish I had bought more. fprefect1

"Stay tuned for the 2nd half."

Review Notes: Don't burn worth a sh!t but warms up flavor wise before the first third is gone. Burns a little hot and spicy up front before deep, tasty, woody flavors come through. Be patient while smoking and get the flavor instead of the heat.

"Inconsistent"

Review Notes: For being a felipe gregorio stick, i have to say I'm highly disappointed. I got a 5-pack of these to try -- I really enjoy his Dominicana (white label) and other brands' fuller-bodied smokes, so thought I'd try this. Sure looks great, and the flavors and aromas are pretty nice (4 of 5 stars for my tastes), highly complex and... odd?... I don't expect a distinct maple syrup flavor to come knock my socks off, but that's what I got mid-cigar. For the price, it's an 8 or 9 out of 10... Regardless of the price, though, the burn stunk, with veins so thick that when the ash dropped, there were vein-barbs sticking from the lit foot! Overall, 7.5 - and that's with a few months humi time.

"Wonderful"

Review Notes: Rough and tough looking chocolate brown veiny wrapper. Burn was a bit uneven and fast but smoked ok. Draw was kind of loose but it sure provided easy gobs of flavorful smoke. All kinds of different flavor notes in this. The base was slightly sweet tobacco. The notes were of mocha, something floral, coffee, earth, vanilla and nuts. Mostly mild to sometimes medium in body. I thorougly enjoyed this, especially for the $1.50 or so I paid.
