Review Notes: Perdomo seems to make two types of cigars. The expensive, perfectly made ones (Estate, La Tradicion), and inexpensive ones that have very good flavor but almost always tunnel, run, or do not draw (ISOM, The Cigar). This cigar has good color, excellent flavor when smokeable, but four out of five tunneled all the way down.

Review Notes: Just got back to work after a long lunch of nicotine and alcohol....I'm still buzzed. Ended up on the wrong train heading back to work because of this baby and probably would have just given up if I didn't have to work to support my habit. This cigar had great taste but all 4 that we smoked burned unevenly. Went through 3 books of matches to contol the burn and should have gotten hazardous duty pay. Great value @ 94 bucks for a box of 40. Not sure I agree with the scathing remarks of the other jumokes revieving this stick...When you can't smoke Cuban Bolivar Belicoso's every day, this one is a good choice and worth the extra work for the price. I would recommend it to both my ememies and friends.

"Good flavor bad const"

Review Notes: I found this Perdomo sitting in my humidor buried under a pile of CAO Amazons. It has aged about four months. This is the first Perdomo I have smoked and it was not too bad. Construction was not good. The cigar unrolled at the tip, tunneled badly and after the 5th relight settled down to unevenness. Draw was tight. Flavor, however, was very good; spicy, rich and sweet. Aroma was excellent with hints of coffee and chocolate. Finish was very good. I must have stumbled across a good one considering the low marks it gets. Construction flaws would probably keep me from purchasing this cigar again.

Review Notes: I decided to try one of these on a recommendation from a friend. I wasnít very impressed with this one. I have smoked 2 of them now; the first was horrible. I thought it might just be young so I left the remaining 4 I had in my humidor for about six months. Well it didnít help, this cigar still tasted like crap. The looks of The Cigar are average at best and the band is just awful ugly. The construction of these cigars suck! The roll is so loose that the cigar is squishy. Both of the ones I smoked were falling apart on me. The draw was ever changing depending on which way you squeezed the cigar. I couldnít even call what was going with these cigars a burn. It wasnít canoeing it was freakiní gondolas, I though I was in Venice. But the worst was the taste. This is without a doubt the harshest cigar I have ever smoked. I bought 5-pack of these from an internet retailer for $20. BOTTOM LINE: The worst, I wouldnít give these out to my enemies, waste of time and money, I recommend that you do not try The Cigar.
