Review Notes:
The wrapper had a slightly oily sheen, medium veins and tight seams. There was a small wobble in the burn, but it wasn’t a problem. I found the draw to be rather tight. Sweet maduro aromas. The flavors were toasted tobacco and leathers, with some woody notes in the first third. Mid-stick there were some great chocolate and espresso flavors. In the last third some mild spice and pepper emerged, but I was impressed with the balance and smoothness. Most enjoyable.

Review Notes:
I bought a few of these approximately one year ago. The
wrapper is gorgeous, veineless and maduro. The pre-light
aroma and draw are simply spectacular, leathery and
spicey. After lighting, draw and burn are perfect, solid dark
grey ash. Flavors start stronger to mellow a bit in the
second third resuming intensity in the last third. They
include strong leather but also spice, earth, and chocolate.
A truly magnificent, medium bodied but very flavorful cigar!

Review Notes:
As a huge maduro fan, I was truly looking forward to this cigar. I like and appreciate all maduros, including the triple maduros by other manufacturers. This was just ok, didn't blast me away. In fact, I pitched entering the last third. Burn was a little uneven and even after 3 months at 70 70, it still went out twice. Maybe a bad stick, still have 9 others that I will revisit next year. For now, just dissatisfied with it.

Review Notes:
Smoked an entire box and am missing it already. Very little I can add to the last reviewer. Perhaps the best robusto size I have ever had, all things considered. To split hairs, not quite the depth of flavor of the Monte #2, my personal sine qua non. Outstanding, nevertheless.
