Review Notes: A "robust" robusto. Thick, rich smoke. Real tobacco taste and spice. Strong but not overpowering or harsh. I like them with a heavy beer. Construction and burn are good, but the flavour sets this cigar apart from other robustos.

Review Notes: I really regard the Cohiba Robusto to be one of the best of the robusto format. Well constructed, beautiful, strong, balanced flavor, and if you know where to shop they are $11-12 a stick, which is cheaper than a lot of overpriced Dominicans. This is the cigar that I come back to when I want a complexity, smoothness, and power.

Review Notes: No rough edges. Perfectly integrated. As delicious a combination of rich, round, medium-bodied, well-cured Cuban leaf and delicate herbs and spices as you're likely to encounter, with a honeyed, cappuccino-laced sweetness riding on top. The standard by which all other Cuban Robustos are judged, and deservedly so. Soothing and exhilarating!

Review Notes: In honor of the Houston Astros going down honorably, I smoked a Cohiba robusto for the first time. It was a tonic to my misery. For the ash fans, the first one hung for a full inch and a half. The flavor was medium to full and complex. I smoked it to the nub. However, during the game, I smoked a Gran habano Corojo Rothschild. It was not as perfectly constructed, but it was delicious. I am not saying it was as good, but it pointed out that the price differential is an important player in today's market. I reserve my Habanos for special occasions. It is as much an ideal as it is it for a great smoking experience. The cohiba robusto is a great cigar, but I like the Ramon Allones more. If you pay the price, it is worth it, but there are others for less, that without comparing rings, give you as much pleasure. A "10" cigar with a "5" price.
