Review Notes:
Being of the mind that Cohibas are over rated, or maybe over priced is more accurate, because they are a good smoke, plus what humidor is complete with out them! At any rate, prefering PCs I picked up a box of these from Feb 2007, young but I had to give a couple a try before putting them in the humi to age. Beautiful presentation & construction, perfect slow even burn, creamy cedar & peppery with a tingly finish. Great with my morning coffee. I'm not disapointed at all & am looking forward to how these will age.

Review Notes:
I had forgotten to have this little thing in my humidor...what best time to smoke it than while watching the France F1 Grand Prix (and see Ferrari doing a double?)?
Well, this is a true Cohiba, powerful but smooth, well constructed even if with some tiny combustion problems toward the end. It has that great feel good factor that only best things in life can give....and it almost burned my finger. Grand Prix was not finished yet, but Ferrari was still leading one-two....

Review Notes:
This cigar had a different smell from all the other cigars I to a wiff of, the construction wasn't too hard but looks like it held very well. The wrapper looks really tough, not rugged but you can tell that it's a little thick and looks like it would take a few blows(or drops on the floor).
Snip the little bastid and tested the prelight draw, it was alot tighter than I'd like it to be so I poked it with my homemade cigar poker. I dry puffed on it a few more times to try and get some flavor out of it so I'd know what to expect. I mostly got that nicotine tingle feeling so I decided to light it up.
Easy even light, took my first puff, and I wasn't too impressed, I tasted a good amount of pepper and some hints of what I think was woody goodness. I took a few more puffs and BOOM this thing exploded with flavors, I kept trying to figure out what I was experiencing but I just couldn't put my finger on what my tounge was going through. I did taste a young but it was still very flavorful and enjoyable.
Flavor kept changing, coming and going throughout the whole cigar. The nicotine kicked my ass big time, it was like smoking an opus but the nicotine went straight to my head, I found myself sitting on the shower floor under a warm water splashing all over me.

Review Notes:
Aged 3 years. Nice looking, small cigar that had a fantastic bouquet. Body was mild to medium. The soil.cream flavor, while nice, never really took off. The last 1/3 turned to a grass.leather.soil.pepper flavor that was much more interesting than the rest of the cigar. Burn was fine, draw was tight in places. I'm a little underwhelmed at this price point.
