Review Notes:
This is a great cigar. I smoked it until I almost burned my fingers. It is expensive, though.

Review Notes:
I absolutely love this cigar...one reason is the size...One of my top 3 "go-to" cigars is the Bolivar Petit Coronas, but I have to admit I like these better. (Note to reviewer no. 2...the Siglo II is a Petit Corona and the corona gorda size is Siglo IV) Although these are a somewhat mild smoke, and I tend to lean more towards "heavier" tastes, this leaves absolutely nothing left to be desired. They start out with that familiar Cohiba tang (my name for it, anyway!)...a bit grassy, but none of the harshness than the word conjurs up...as you smoke this work of art, new notes and flavors are added, but instead of replacing the former tastes, they combine with them. I would recommend this cigar to anybody, and I mean anybody! This stick typifies all that is the Siglo line from Cohiba, IMHO. I do, however, think they are very overpriced when you can buy a cabinet of 50 Bolivar PCs for about $260.00us including shipping, but what the heck, eh? Cigar nuts are just that, aren't we? Nuts?

Review Notes:
This stick with box code POS Feb 06 came enrobed in a Colorado wrapper with medium veining. A green blemish was noted at the foot. The familiar triple cap was present. Solid construction without soft spots. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. Even burn with the need for 2 relights – one certainly because I got caught up in a conversation and neglected the cigar for too long, the other premature and spontaneous. Gray-black ash.
The first draws were grass and green wood. In the first third, a raw tobacco flavor was prominent, with mild herbal and woody notes. Hints of cream and paper were also discernible. In the middle third, the tobacco turned “sweet”, with hints of menthol on top of a mild woody undertone. The Cuban “twang” started showing through at this point. In the last third, the “twang” took on a very prominent role, with hints of orange zest on wood.
All in all, this stick was a lot more enjoyable than the 1st. It was medium bodied and showed extreme promise when it matures some more. If I had to sum it up, I’d say it was like smoking cotton candy wrapped around a 2x4. I know that doesn’t necessarily make it sound enticing, but that image kept circling my mind as I spent 50 minutes enjoying it.
