Review Notes: This is one of my top 3 Cohiba cigars...EVER. I do love the Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished, but if price were no object I would certainly buy more of these than do. But, once again, despite Cohiba's over-pricing, (my opinion only!) this cigar is truly worthy of it. I've purchased a total of 7 boxes in the past 6 years. In my first box, I had one plug, and haven't had one since. The smoothness, no, the creaminess os this cigar is out of this world. I find myself lighting one, grabbing a book, sitting down and before I know it, the cigar is burning my fingers and the book is yet unopened. That's how carried away I get when I light one of these up. The smoke is so enjoyable, I kind of drift away...okay, okay, weird, but true! It has a nice amount of spice, and a lovely floral note that lasts for at least a half of the stick. The finish is long, cedary and delicious! I'm sorry the reviewer 'dlc625' had an "annoying aftertaste that couldn't be described"...I only hope he gives this hall-of-famer of a stogie another chance, the aftertaste on this cigar, in my opinion, is just so...perfectly matched, so to speak, with the rest of the cigar, it's one of my favorite finishes in the business. This cigar is expensive, true, but to have just one box and to smoke one or two a year and by the time you get down to between 19 and 21, you simply won't believe how great this cigar is.

Review Notes: This stick with box code PEL 7/01 is draped in a silky smooth Colorado wrapper with a beautiful reddish hue. There are minimal veins, virtually imperceptible tooth, and no soft spots. The familiar triple cap is present. Easy light. Perfect draw. Even burn without the need for relights or corrections. Gray-black ash and tons of whitish-blue smoke. Started with nuts and a slight grassy flavor. The first third saw a cornucopia of flavors, including tannic leather, sweet wood, and hint of vanilla, grass, and chocolate., There was also a noticeable saltiness, that when combined with the sweetness, seemed almost like “kettle corn”!! Delicious!!! The middle third brought a tangy toasted tobacco flavor with peppermint, leather, wood, and notes of grass. There was also a whisper of fruitiness in the background and even a smoky BBQ-type flavor. The tanginess increased as it was smoked. The final third saw a transformation towards charred wood, and a bitterness was noted, particularly in the last 1 ½”. I also felt the Vitamin N start creeping in at the very end. All in all, this one hour 20 minute medium-to-full bodied smoke was most enjoyable. The medley of flavors, hints, and nuances was delightful. Paired with ice water at the end of a long, hot day.

Review Notes: I've smoked a number of these, from various years, and they never disappoint. For one, I love the size. Second, the Siglo V's flavor is, with a little age, incredibly complex, always with the typical Cohiba flavor undertones.

Review Notes: I smoked this in Guatemala and was impressed. I always buy my Cubans with a small ring guage. It was medium bodied w/salt and pepper ash. Flavor was leathery and w/expresso notes and a medium finish. I would buy again.

Review Notes: Won this cigar at the golf course. First Cuban I've ever tried. Man, what a great cigar. Had leather and creamy coffee flavors all the way through. I could only finish about half of it because I was buzzing hard. Would prefer another in a robusto size, but this was the best cigar I've ever had. Only problem was it went out on me once and I had to relight
