Review Notes:This cigar was very good after a Sunday early dinner. Perfect draw, overall the taste was very consistent, earthy flavor with notes of coffee, and mild spice at times. It was the last one left where I purchased it, it came in a very nice tube which comes in a pack of 3.

Review Notes:Yesterday was this first get together of the Triple Cap Cigar Club. We’re starting from humble origins, we have about 7 members, a balcony, a porch, and whatever golf course we find ourselves on. Within the next 6-8 months, I am hoping to transform my 150 square foot balcony into a full-fledged cigar haven with a couple of lounge chairs, couches, area rugs, and a record player. Living in Hawaii, a smoke free zone, us cigar smokers have been banned from all restaurants, and unlike cities like Miami or New York, there are no cigar or restaurant bars where we can lay our hats and kick back after a hard week. Some of my fondest memories have been sharing a cigar with my Dad in places like the Macanudo Cigar bar in Manhattan and the Cigar room at the Marriott in Bangkok. Aside from having superb drinks and food, the ambiance, sophistication, and classic feel leave me wanting and wishing a place like this existed in Down Town Honolulu. For the time being, we’ll have to make due with my porch and lawn furniture but at least the drinks are cheap.
For cigars last night, Keoki had a special edition Graycliff cigar named Junkanoo, Matt smoked a Graycliff Red Label torpedo, and I went with my new favorite, the Cohiba Siglo VI. I tried a few drags of each of the smokes at different times through out the cigar.
The Junkanoo had subtle floral and tobacco flavors at the beginning, about mid way it picked up strength and a hint of spice, towards the finish there was a bit of a diesel aftertaste that hurt the score. 88 points.
The Red label was nicely constructed. It had a nice medium body with a good mix of spice and tobacco flavor. I think this would be a great afternoon smoke after a round of golf with a couple of beers. 88 points
The Siglo VI is perfection. I have 23 of these left from my box, and I think that’s just about enough. When I start getting down to about 10 left, I’ll be ready to buy another one. I never want to be with out this smoke in my humidor. As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t get much better than this an instant classic. 96 Points.

Review Notes:“…Sing with me, sing for the year sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away...”
There are special instances in life that warrant breaking out the Dom, or having a glass of something really expensive. Perhaps the day you get engaged, when you find out your wife is having twins, the Red Sox win the series, you graduate from Law School, you get the picture. Well my special moment came last night during a simple Friday dinner with friends.
The moment albeit pretty unremarkable in the grand scheme of the universe really turned into a celebration, the second I lit up this remarkable cigar. Keep in mind nothing was accomplished…no solution to the situation in Korea or figuring out how to single handedly thwart the current economic situation we’re in. But after a dinner of grilled New York strip, teriyaki kal-bi ribs, stuffing, steamed green beans, mac and cheese, and rice, I found a good reason to sit back relax, and forget about anything remotely important related to work, politics, or responsibility in general.
My best man at my upcoming wedding Matt saw the look of contentment on my face and asked me for a puff. After a couple of pulls, I found myself digging through the humidor for another one of these ultra expensive and rare (in the US anyway) sticks. My Pop told me that he saw this cigar on a menu at the Hyatt Bangkok Cigar Lounge going for 50 bucks US. Some of the flavors that I experienced were Chinese tea, flowers, and honey while Matt commented on the smooth and creamy character.
The smokes lasted a good hour and a half picking up a leather core on the finish. During the course of the cigar, I had a gin and tonic, and a couple of beers, while Matt pretty much cashed the rest of my bottle of Hennessy XO. All the while, we were entertained by some throwback episodes of Entourage, which is the man’s version of Sex In the City according to Jessica Lau, a new girlfriend of my acclaimed chef pal Kevin Chun. She’s probably right, but I find myself not wanting to agree with her at all.
Now winding up this review I give the cigar a perfect 10. In my humble opinion the Siglo VI blows away anything that you can buy over the counter in your local smoke shop. For me it’s not just a cigar, this smoke really creates a special moment whenever you have the time to devote to it, and makes a humble Friday dinner among friends a truly remarkable experience.

Review Notes:Without a doubt the best Ive ever had.
The Cigar started smooth as butter and finished the same way.
Amazing Taste and Aroma.
My only regret is that I only have 8 from the 2 boxes left which will only come out for the most special
of ocasions. Pricey but very worth it plus it is an absolutely beautiful stick.

Amazing Flavor from start to Finish and as smooooooth as the day is long.
Absolutely Amazing notes of Cinammon Honey and Leather and Ive never seen a longer ash.
My only regret is that they difficulty in getting them and that I only have 8 left from the
2 boxes that I started with and they will only come out of the humidor for ultra-special events.
This Cigar has set the Bar for me
