Review Notes:
IMHO, of course. I found this cigar lacking in the build and flavor departments, which are the 2 biggest things, in my book. I think maybe the draw problems others had might be remedied by clipping more off the head, as mine was tight until I had cut approx. 1/2" off, then it was fine. But mine burned unevenly the whole length, requiring numerous touch-ups. I had it aging for about 18 months in 70% RH, so maybe a less humid environ would help. I got flavors of cocoa and woodiness, but there was an odor of ammonia coming off the foot that disagreed with me. (Maybe mine was fake? I purchased it as a single from a local shop with a good rep, though..) The finish was mild and of cream and cocoa, which I really enjoyed. I found this cigar to be mild-medium at best. It reminded me of an AF maduro, for some reason. The Ecuadorian CBL wrapper, maybe. Anyway, IMO you'd be much better off smoking an ISOM H. Upmann #2 if you're looking for a milder 60 min figurado that tastes great and doesn't burn right. I paid around $20 for a single, if my memory is right, so the Upmann is cheaper, too, by a few bucks.

Review Notes:
I purchased 5 of these in summer 2002 basically had one per year give or take. The earlier ones were really intense in the strength department with some good flavors but overshadowed by sheer power. They progressed nicely over time. All were impeccably constructed with flawless burn and draw and copius amounts of smoke. The last one I just had at Lake Las Vegas inside the Havana Cigar Bar. An amazing smoke with a finish that just went on and on. The greatest definable tastes and complexity out of this last sample. Even so I am on the fence about a box as they were best for my palate after a very long nap. You be the judge based on your tastes, just make sure you're a full bodied fanatic.

Review Notes:
Very nice when well hydrated. Consistent draw and burn with a dark and robust flavor which I prefer over natural.

Review Notes:
This is my second review of this cigar after aging them for approximately five years. I originally enjoyed the cigar enough to purchase twelve boxes for aging. They have improved considerably over the last few years. The cigars are very beautifully made. The wrapper is dark, oily and veiny. Though I have had an occasional burn issue towards the finish, it almost always burned perfectly. It is a complex and medium bodied cigar and starts with a creamy and nutty aroma with a hint of caramel. It tastes of earth and toast with a hint of pepper. Towards the finish the woody flavor becomes more dominent. The cigar is expensive but worth the price and the time to age it. I strongly recommend it.

Review Notes:
For me, there was a lot to love about this cigar, and a few things...well, not to. Pros: Hugely complex and very interesting flavors and aromas, lots of flavor changes and a grand build for an intense finnish (that should improve very much with 4-6 years age, as it is now, it may be a bit harsh for some, though not me). Cons: every one I've had has had a very tight draw (which really suprised me being a Cohiba), some unfixable, most can be remedied though.....and the Price on these bad boys, even online you rarely find good deals on cohibas, and if it sounds too good to be true, chances are (with some exceptions) they're counterfeits. (Yes non-cuban cigars are counterfeit too, with box prices on some limited editions in the $300-$700, why not?). I'm charged $18 a piece here in Bend, OR.....most days the price and the construction is enough to put me off, but Cohiba is just so damned unique that I do smoke them every once in a while...BTW, the Blacks are great.
