Review Notes: The ash on this was almost pure white and perfect. This is a very mild cigar and lasts about 1 1/2 hours. Not very complex, but a good smoke for beginners. And a good introduction to the Cohiba brand. I do not see these for sale any more.

Review Notes: First off let me start by saying for the past month I've smoked nothing but Gurkha masterblends, legends, and regents and today I had my first Cohiba and it was way better then the Gurkhas. It was very mild but extremely easy to smoke with solid ashes and no touch up burns and a even burn.

Review Notes: Lets be honest, I am fairly new to cigar smoking, however I have tried now probably near 15 different brands of cigars... The draw on this cigar was excellent and there are no complaints there, however, the taste left much to be desired. While I was smoking it all I could think of was "bland" and I really felt as though the cigar lacked character... I certainly would not purchase this stick again, and might not even have one if offered for free... I'd prefer smoke something else of my own...

Review Notes: I was certainly not expecting this smoke to be its' Cuban brother, but, I can agree with most points. I found this cigar to start off weak for the 1st inch or so (like bland pencil shavings). Then, I was pleasantly surprised to find it transition into a very smooth, creamy, cedary taste that was outstanding. This cigar was rich and refined, with an exciting balance. The constuction and burn; worth complimenting. Now, for the objectivity; Were any of these traits so oustanding, that it would be impossible to duplicate/replicate in another cigar?? Absolutely not!! You could easily find other cigars that had similiar presentations for cheaper prices. However, to each his own! I can agree with anyone who would claim to love this cigar. Conversely, I could recommend 20 other cigars that would be just as impressive to someone not fixated on a former Cuban brand?!?. I think that creates half of the allure, and why people have a strong liking, or dislike!? In my opinion, that is why most people really love them, or really hate them. Maybe, maybe not? But, I would never turn one down, but could recommend something else with the same enthusiasm.

Review Notes: First of, the problem with Cuban knockoffs, such as Dominican-made Cohiba, Montecristos, etc, is that your expectations are very high when compared with the real Cuban cigars of the same name. So if you accept the fact that these are Dominican versions of the real thing your expectations should be up to par. This cigar was ok to me. The draw was easy, decent smoke, mild cigar with not a whole lot of flavor. Way overpriced. If this cigar went by another name, you would not give it another look.
