Review Notes:
I don't understand why such low ratings on these reviews. I can see where price nay be a factor, but the cigar was better than a 5. I must say though, I only paid 11 for this. The cigar was covered in a dusting of plume when I opened it and let it rest for about 60 days. There was a little crack upon pre light inspection, but it was tiny. I took a good while to light it, even using a tri flame torch. The first couple inches were spicier then it mellowed out. The Cameroon wrapper was a little on the weaker flavor profile, but that may have to do with this cigar being older than 1997, there was a red dot where handmade should be. Cohiba I have found are not overly complex, but the taste is good. I was pleased, the smoke was good and the burn was straight. Red dots give off an aroma that I find pleasing. I wouldn't swear by this stick, but it's not as bad as it's being reviewed.

Review Notes:
I'm very suprised to see anyone giving this outstanding cigar a negative rating!! classic cohiba construction-perfect; great draw, tight roll (making for a long pleasureable session)...and oh, the flavor! no waiting for it to develope, you'll be treated to a very tasty, satisfying initial phase that gets more interesting as it goes..flavors of coblar crust, sweet creams and mellow woods...excellent aroma of orange marmalade (image how it tastes-that's the aroma), with a very mellow sweet musk to boot...it is notable that the transition from the first phase to the second is curiously lengthy, I reached the second tier at approximately 2 inches...the finnish was slightly spicey, creamy, with a sublte hint of green pepper...it appeared early, then waned...then made itself present again at about 4 inches (smoked)...finnish was nicely balanced...the entire cigar was nicely balanced, very interesting, and extremely tasty...a high level of satisfaction...this is a special cigar, that ranks high on my list and hits the "WOW" factor...something that reminds me I'm smoking a first class cigar...not one penny overpriced...well worth the money if you like a good cameroon...and the wrapper...I don't know what there secret is...cameroon wrappers are generally very thin and are known to crack easily sometimes before, and certainly almost always during smoking....but these do NOT! slightly oily (also rare for cameroons) and held up great with a very even burn...I highly recommend to anyone loving cameroons, looking for a reliable partner...the flavor is reminiscent of the padron anniversary series (natural wrapper)-another great cigar...unfortunately, padron isn't what it used to be...so sad...while I'm out of padrons, and will miss them...this has taken it's place as a staple in my humidor, and has a commanding presence of it's own.

Review Notes:
im a very picky smoker- this is my favorite. supurb aroma, burns perfectly and above all the taste is second to none. Unlike all of the over rated Fuente's- this cigar tops the list.

Review Notes:
If this is supposed to be a Cameroon wrapper, it's the lightest one I've seen. Looks more like a Natural wrapper. Firm draw, stayed lit and self corrected any minor uneven burn issues. The taste was great when it started out. Earthy with a hint of cinnamon and spice. After the first 2 inches, the flavor was gone and I was left with nothing but hot air. Determined to smoke it to the nub, I was sadly disappointed by this venerable brand. When talking about a premium cigar, I expected much more from this price point. Missing were the complex flavors throughout of other premiums such as Montecristo and Fuente. For the price of a 5 pack of these, you could buy a whole box of premium cigars where the flavor doesn't let you down. I almost feel cheated for having wasted more than an hour smoking this stick.
