Review Notes:
The Cu-Avana toro in maduro form is hard to describe. It's sweet without the rich chocolate flavor of most maddies. Believe it or not, that taste actually works for this cigar. It's the type of lightly sweet flavor that sits well in your mouth without coming on too strong. This stick is good for hiking, tinkering with the old auto, or cleaning up the yard. I wouldn't disrespect it by calling it a yard gar, but it's certainly not a premium cigar either. On the down side, it is a bit one dimentional, which works better for the robusto, than this toro. The burn, draw, appearance and all other aspects are slightly above average and when you consider the price, this is a plain good cigar.

Review Notes:
Does'nt look all that beautiful. But it sure has a smooth, cool burning taste that makes you want to light up another.. this was definitely worth the $40.00 i payed for 20 on CI..

Review Notes:
This is the 1st time I had tried this cigar, and probably the best way I can describe it is a very good bang for the buck.
The dark broadleaf Conn. wrapper had very few veins and was slightly toothy and the cigar itself was very firm to the touch. The draw was a little tight for my taste, but was no problem to fix. I would call this cigar mild to medium with a slightly sweet taste and a spicy finish. Apart from the draw, the construction was very good as was the burn. 1 1/2" of silvery white ash. This is a very slow burning smoke which I suspect is related to the tight draw, and the very firm feeling of the cigar body. I would recommend this cigar, but not at the retail price. For under 2.00, this stick is a winner.

Review Notes:
One of the best value cigars around. Not as heavy and sweet as I usually like in a maduro, but a nice medium maduro with a subtle sweetness and a couple of nice flavors for a mildly complex smoke. Construction is nice, but not perfect. Still, minor compromises in construction and wrapper appearance are very acceptable given the nearly premium cigar taste.

Review Notes:
This cigar is better than its price indicates. it is not going to win cigar of the year, but this is a solid, mild, flavorful stick that is easy to get your hands on. I did have a slight burn issue in the first inch, but it evened out well. The wrapper is a little thin so beware of your lower humidity dors.
