Review Notes: This baby just did not draw. It was original, and stored at 70% (although i had used the draw poker before lighting and even dry boxed it for the evening). I had to ditch this gorgeous cigar after 10 minutes..what a pity.

Review Notes: I have smoked several of these and they are by far one of my favorites. It is quite mild as Havanas go. Very well balanced and smoke for about 2 hours. Only negative I can think of is that the burn was very slightly off. Nothing that would ruin the experience though. Great cigar!!!!

Review Notes: This is a commitment cigar like a marriage to a beautiful girl with long legs and perfect skin. The burn…immaculate, while the classic Cuban scents and tastes of graham crackers and coffee filled the air and caressed my palate. It was intoxicating, but like a marriage, it was long. 2 hours long. I smoked half before dinner, and the other half after. I get these at a very good price, so I can say that for the enjoyment, it’s actually worth more than what I spend. I can relate to the other reviews that I have seen, the stick looks so good that you want to put it in your humi and let it sleep for a very long time before cutting it and ultimately enjoying the hell out of it for as long as possible. I haven't had an Opus X in a very long time but I have had a lot of Habanos lately. I can't see the logic behind spending $140 on a 4 cigar opus sampler, if you can get something like this Salomon for 17 bucks. I've only have one left and I think I should run out and buy the rest before I'm out of luck. As for the Opus, I can wait.

Review Notes: I've been holding onto this one for a few years. A good friend gave me this stick after he went on a journalism assignment in Havana. I've been admiring it as if it were a trophy largemouth mounted on my wall. Finally, I just had to try it. First off, the feel of the cigar was like holding Excalibur. Solid, smooth and velvety to the touch. The oils stayed on my fingers and there was a nice plume visible in the light. The pre-light aroma reminded me of wheat and oats. The cigar lit with ease and glowed with an intense orange glow. The burn was slow and the draw easy. The first 1/4 of the cigar was smooth as silk with subtle flavors of nuts and clover honey. The middle portion of the cigar gained power and rallied to an earthy, almost root flavor. The final inch of the cigar again mellowed and took on flavors of wood and leather. Just an amazing cigar. I would pay the asking price (assuming I could afford it) if I could just get my hands on them. Lets drop the embargo and all have a good smoke!

Review Notes: This cigar was just plain bad. It was flat, very very mild and offered nothing. I could not finish it. Bought it as a single so I realize this could have just been a bad one but that's the way this one was.
