Review Notes: I love cubans. If I can smoke a cigar, I wish it a cuban everytime. I am however, cost concious, and time concious. I don't want to waste a $15 cohiba magico on a weekday after a meal of left overs and have to put it out half way because my gf wants me to go to the store with her. That being said, these are a perfect solution. The flavor is there. I smoked a couple of them for my birthday party last night. In the mean time, I took some drags off of my dads Cohiba Limitada Churchhill and suprise! I didn't want to throw my cigar away after. For $3, this cigar is definately close to or as good as a Fuente Short story, and I feel that it has more flavor. I think with some aging, perhaps 1 to 2 years, these cigars will get even better. For a quick smoke or a 3 hole golf course cigar, I don't think you can beat this cigar for the quality and taste.

Review Notes: I finished the last of a five pack that were in the humidor about 4 years. I got they at a great price and they were a great value. The taste is mild but hints of spice and a floral taste and aroma. I wish I had a few more, but I don't know if they still make them.

"Mild"

Review Notes: This is definitely a mild cigar. Interesting short belicoso shape with a very tapered head. Toothy rosado brown wrapper. No soft spots. Nice, but mild, prelight aroma. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. No burn problems. Copious amounts of white smoke. Firm white ash. Started with very mild oak and tobacco tastes and never really developed any more character or complexity. In that respect, it was one-dimensional. Despite this, I enjoyed the cigar as a change of pace. Still - versus my expectations, I would say this did not live up to other criollos I've had. This may be one to give out to friends (noobs) or enjoy after a light breakfast.

"Smooth and earthy"

Review Notes: This wasn't the prettiest cigar in the world, the cap espcially was not well done. The draw was easy, perhaps a bit too easy but I haven't had these long in the humidor. Burn was good, ash was light gray and flaky. The binder was dark gray, the filler and wrapper much lighter. The taste was quite tasty, smooth and earthy. It got stronger in the second half and then slightly harsh, requiring a few purges to regain the flavors. Not a bad smoke in the price range.
