Review Notes: I had my doubts about the cigar when inspecting it prelight. Just as my previous experience with another Cusano, the Corojo, this cigar really smelled of ammonia. Also, the cigar seemed to be rather soft when slightly squeezed, giving one the impression that the draw will be way to loose. Just as I had to do with the Corojo, I dry boxed the cigar for a few hours to let the ammonia smell subside. The construction was surprisingly near perfect when actually smoked. Amazing burn, very exact and only had to relight when I left the cigar sitting for almost 45 minutes. The burn kept for periods of up to 35 minutes of not smoking, (some serious COD 4 action!) but I am not sure if that is strictly due to construction or if it was assisted by the earlier dry boxing of the cigar. The flavor profile was very delicate and difficult to define. I am not able to place my specific cigar at any familiar flavor of common foods. The taste was some where between the subtle sweetness I sometimes get from taking a whiff of the spanish ceder in my humi and a flat satiny smoothness. I did not pick up any spice or saltiness that many smokers here point out. I ended up smoking the cigar until I could not hold it because the sweetness of the cigar really picked up at the last quarter. Over all its a great cigar for mild-medium lovers and it actually had a decent kick of nicotine. Don't over look this cigar due to its prelight appearance and smell.

Review Notes: I bought a box for 32, bucks since I work at a tobacconist. It really has a saltwater flavor too it with a hint of acidity. Great construction and a flawless burn and draw.

Review Notes: Well, the top of my tongue, really. That certain, can't-quite-place-it flavor. Other reviewers have said "popcorn", "salty", and "just can't put my finger on it." That about says it for me too. As also noted, the Davidoff family resemblance is strong. I find it somewhere between a Special and maybe an Avo Signature. Both sticks that, like this one, make my tongue tingly (tingly is good). I rate this one high on value. Boxes of ten are also a particular favorite of mine for aging. They don't take up a great deal of space, and don't make me feel like I'm keeping a car payment stashed away at 68/68 for an indefinite period of time. Anyhow, if you're a fan of the pricier output from Davidoff, these are a definite must-try.

Review Notes: I find it interesting that they have a 10th anniversary cigar on cigars said to use old tobaccos...well beyond 10 years old. No matter. This is a decent cigar that will not blow your mind, but will please the palate enough where you wont cry about the lofty price tag. The look of this cigar is not much better than the basic Cusano line.

Review Notes: Nice appearance, even nicer flavor. While the first inch produced a spiciness which was intense, persevere and the rewards become apparent. I can't rave enough about this cigar. Hints of what I can only describe as popcorn with wood, it was a unique and fulfilling experience. There were also some semi-sweet cocoa notes in there. Aside from the first inch, this cigar delivered flavor which was well worth the price tag. It may even be considered a bargain for the quality. Minor burn issues which I will attribute to very windy outdoor smoking, this cigar tried its best to correct those issues. Can't wait to buy a box of these, because trust me these get better with age if you can keep yourself away from them. If only it came in a toro size to make up for that harsh first inch...
