Review Notes: I have had good experiences with the Da Vinci line, and that is why I felt quite disppointed with this stick. I had this in the humidor for about two years, so I'm keeping that in mind, as that may have altered the flavor. Appearance was nice, except for the cap, which looks like it was hastily put on. Pre-light aroma was fine - your run-of-the-mill tobacco aroma. The construction was nice, and as far as draw goes, this one hit the mark. Good volumes of smoke and the burn was relatively even, with no problems through the duration of the cigar. My issue is with the flavor. The first two inches of this cigar were DREADFUL. It was a very vegetal/mineral flavor, to the point that I am fairly confident that I know what it would taste like if you could actually smoke a moss covered boulder. Past that, the flavor started to change to a tobacco/nutty flavor that was more reminiscent of the Da Vinci I know. Flavor pretty much stayed the same for the rest of the cigar, and though it wasn't bad, it certainly didn't stand out. All in all, I was let down by this. Had I not suffered that horrible beginning, I would have rated this as an average stick, but taking that into account, there will be some points taken off.

Review Notes: Not bad for the price at all. If someone were to decide to step it up from milder smokes, this would be a good place to start. Slightly peppery, but not to much so, rich on the palate, over all a good smoke at a reasonable price...i might have to try the other sizes.

Review Notes: I try to stay away from brands that pop up over night, as they don't tend to stay around for very long. But the names Oliva and Altadis are generally good indicators of quality. I must say that Oliva has not failed to please again. Good sweet earthy, creamy tastes. Lots of smoke. An all around great experience and a price that cannot be beat.

Review Notes: Firm cigar, but did not last as long as I thought it would. Only about 35 min. Started with creamy, nutty flavor, almost cashew, for the first inch or so. Then lost the nutty flavor and gained a little spice. Nice draw for such a fiirm cigar, but not a lot of smoke. Veiny wrapper and mottled. Double cap, with the top cap where you want to make your cut. Not great, but not bad either. Will have to try another after sitting in the humi for a month or so.
