Review Notes:
I haven't had the pleasure of trying the Partagas Culebras from Habanos (They're SO expensive, too), but this was an interesting experience that might persuade me to take that plunge. This braid was gifted to me by my best friend, and I only smoked one stick so far, but that one was... nice, I guess. Not worth whatever he paid, I'm sure, but it will turn heads when people notice you're smoking a giant, blonde pubic hair! The flavor was bready and bright, with a sugary sweetness to it and a toasty finish. Not much else to it, but Davidoff isn't exactly known for great full-bodied smokes. The aroma was toasty and clean. It burned amazingly well, not requiring any effort to draw, no corrections needed, either. A VERY mild smoke, it left me feeling refreshed rather than relaxed. I might buy some if the price was right, just to have in my collection. The coffin/wax paper/Davidoff ribbon presentation is a cute touch, too. Can't say I'd recommend them as anything other than a nice gift, not for serious smoking but a great conversation piece.
