Review Notes: im a new smoker so i havent had a whole lot of stuff, but i have picked my way around the cigar store and im definately into trying new things... the maximus is my favorite so far... it beats the CAOs and it beats the Punch and several common name brands... i found it very smooth but full of flavor and it has a bit of strength to it... i love the way it looks and i love the consistency from start to finish... the only thing i dont like is the price, but i figure you find that with anybody's opinion... so this one is definately worth the time and effort to check it out for yourself

Review Notes: im from Europe,so ive been smoking nothing but cubans so far for many years.finally visiting family in usa i have posibility to try all best non cuban cigars,opus anejo diamond padron etc(they are much cheaper in usa than europe and they available).got 5 sticks of each brand and thats my first review of maximus.beatyful looking stick with amazing band,great construction.i really tried to like those cigars but i cant.taste is very blant almost boring.they burned like champs with nice firm ash but tastewise there is nothing good about this brand.some sweetness in it but zero complexity,zero twang,zero spice,zero power,zero flavours.there is nothing in this stick that could make me ever come back to it.i just dont understand the hype.i would probably buy more if they cost 5$ per stick just to put them in humi because it would made my humi look better,but im done with this brand.if they ever lift embargo these sticks will be laying around every cigar store for 5$ per sticks and ill bet there still will be no takers.

Review Notes: I just smoked one right after smoking a cuban Cohiba. I loved the Cohiba but I am infatuated with the Diamond Crown. The complexity of the smoke and the wrapper taste are incredible. I truly wanted to compare it with a top-notch cuban to see what I thought of it and it shined above what our communist friends produce. Wow. I have not found another cigar on the planet that has it. I am not sure what it is, but even the lifting of the embargo won't keep this one from being in high demand. The aroma of the smoke is worth the cost of the cigar itself. Even though the wrapper is harvested by the Oliva family farms, whatever the Fuente/Newman family does with it, brings it well beyond the same wrapper on an Oliva. I generally don't smoke such a large cigar, but with this one you keep wanting more. Just writing the review gets me craving another. Well, gotta go....

Review Notes: i bought a few of these almost a yr ago and smoked one then.i wasn't impressed and decided to let the remaining sticks rest awhile. some humidor time really helped as it was a much better stick with the aditional aging. great ash,smoke and draw. burn was perfect and never got hot. this was a medium/full body smoke and flavor was excellent. a little pricey but ive spent more and gotten less,then again ive spent less and gotten more also.
