Review Notes: I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar. Not a big fan of the Diamond Crown regular line. Decided to try this on a friends recommendation. I wasn't disappointed. Nice medium bodied full flavored vicar. Tasted hints of sweet and spice all in one draw. I've never had an Opus Z but some people say this one is kind of similar to the Opus. Nice smooth draw with chocolate and caramel clacked into the 2nd third. The last third was as good as the first two. Very consistent.

Review Notes: I usually love DC's, but this maximus was not worth the price tag with a bland taste and a tough draw. It got better towards the end of the stick, but that did not make up for the first 2/3rds. The construction was good, but you don't smoke the construction.

Review Notes: This is in my top three smokes along with LGC Serie R No 5 and Opus Chateau de Reserva 92. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what else. Extremely well constructed, full bodied, very complex. Always keep around.

"Pretty good smoke but pricey"

Review Notes: Picked up one of these from my local since I've been wanting to try one for a while now. Put a punch cut into it then poured a glass of Bushmills 10 years and began on my adventure. A decent looking stick with some prominent veins in the wrapper. Cap was a lot darker than the rest of the cigar which I found to be odd. Lit up just fine and opened with a ton of pepper and spice that stayed for about the first inch of the smoke. After that it mellowed quite a bit into a solid medium bodied cigar. A pretty flavorful smoke with tastes of nuts and light leather on the finish. Around 1/2 way though the punch cut began to get really tight so I opted for a clip that opened it right up. However the smoke began to get a little harsh at that point so I had to slow way down on my herfing. The pleasant tastes never really returned after that and the cigar began to burn really hot towards the end. Burn needed only a few small corrections although there was some tunneling going on at one point. Set this one down for good with less than an inch to go since it was smoking so hot by that point. Overall, this was a pretty good cigar that I will probably try again and really take my time with. However, due to the price it will probably be a little while before that happens. Still, not a bad smoke at all.

Review Notes: Good but Auroras Leoninos robusto was just as good for a lot less.
