Review Notes: But worth my $14.25?? My boobish cigar peddlar practically forced one of these on me the last time I went out for a round-up. Not in the mood to argue, I submitted easily and forked over the cash. I'm glad I tried a few cigars in the Maximus line. They have all been very well-made and this one is the best value out of those I've tried. This cigar burned perfectly, which is something I appreciated. The flavor was very cedary and full-bodied. All in all though, I think I'd rather buy an Excalibur and a Serie R maduro and get two wonderful smokes for the price of this one.

Review Notes: like the rest of the DCM line this cigar does not disappoint. The smoke was alitte to short for me, burns so wonderfully that before i knew it i was down to the label. the DCM double corona 1 offers more stick for your buck, but this is a great smoke none the less.

Review Notes: A new cigar store opened up in the area where a large number of our pro sports figures live. It's got every great stick you can imagine. The "entire" anniversary line (s), Fuente, Graycliff etc. are on display at retail and in some cases retail plus prices. Boxes of Opus X sit open tempting you to take out that second mortgage. Into this store size walk in display humidor walks yours truly last weekend. After leaving a saliva based snail trail around the building, I decide on of the Diamond Crown Maximus Toro's. I think it was around $ 18. Set up the new Ipod to download the 1436 songs from my HD (mums the word on the source of these songs) and went outside to enjoy the smoke. I liked it a lot. Its Opus like with a little mellower flavor character. I like the Opus a little better (A bit more bite and opus nose) but these are first rate smokes. Ah but the price. These are up there with top tier smokes just way overpriced. Burned perfectly. Ash was perfect. Flavor was "top 10". The flavor was complex and consistent until the last inch where it got hot and the spice dominated. Did I mention they were overpriced? Price independent I could smoke these every day foresaking all others and die a happy man.
