Review Notes:
Don't be fooled by the overall score. These are pretty good. The rating will always be held down by the average appearance and so-so construction, but this is a unique, tasty blend. With a few months rest, the flavors are evening out. Med body, a touch on the sweet and bready side. If you're looking for an out of the ordinary humi stuffer, these are a great choice.

Review Notes:
My first Don Kiki. I'm intrigued because of the wide divergence of opinions on his smokes. At a box price of under $2/stick (shipped), it's tough to say this Brown Label is "not worth the money." It ain't eye candy, I'll say that. Veiny, streaky. Construction is also dicey. Slightly underfilled, so I had to work this one with some care. But the flavors were interesting. Predominantly earthy, occasionally offset by hints of cookie dough sweetness. Like Tristan, I picked up a vaguely fruity tang toward the end. Light spice throughout. There's a lot going on in this blend, though the balance isn't quite there yet. Off the truck, this is an average smoke at a very good price. It'll never score well on aesthetics, but it has the flavor components to become a winner in time. I'll check back in 90 days or so.

Review Notes:
The flavor was harsh with hints of iron and dirt. Had some good spice at times. Would not stay lit, I must have lit it about six times. Save your money.

Review Notes:
Wonderful Cigar!
Cigar Maker: Don Kiki
Model: Limited Reserve
Wrapper: Maduro; rough, veiny
Size: 6X52
Construction: Med-High Quality
1st draw: medium, SMOOTH, muted spice, Nicaraguan flavors! Perfect draw!
Light: Torched, great burn
First Impression:
Great fruit tones; chocolaty, almost salty, earth peanut tones. So complex!
1st third:
Rich and nutty now!
so smooth and complex still; room aroma is wonderful
This cigar has a base flavor I can't describe, like a sweet fruity macademia nut taste
sweetness is amplifying now still in the first-third of the cigar
EFFORTLESS DRAW
Huge correction at the end of the first third
2nd third:
Nice and peppery hovering over medium; keeping my palette excited
so smooth, the only draw back of this cigar is the burn so far
the wrapper is burning very uneven
taste is getting darker at bottom of second third
flavor continues in 2nd third
last third:
good; taste is getting a little tarry and slightly bitter in top of 5/6
BLOWOUT!
now rich again; fruity, rich, medium bodied finish
Final Comments:
What a cigar, it's one of the best new stogies I've tried in a while! Maybe it's time to buy a box!

Review Notes:
Don Kiki produces great cigars, and this full strength version is no exception. Stronger, better tasting than the Red Label series, this on is a treat that I smoke daily, ussually when I'm ready to relax with a cup of coffee, or glass of burbon.
