Review Notes:
This is a good smoke and with more time maybe it could be a fine smoke. The appearance was good with lots of oil and some roughish spots on the wrapper. The cap cut well and gave a good pre-draw. The foot lit even yet gave way to some uneven burn later into the smoke. The taste is were this cigar shines, the notes were big on cedar and some coffee with a hint of spice. Not a bad stick, one to pick up and smoke.

Review Notes:
This is one example of why we smoke cigars. An elegant looking cigar, with a good wrapper, and it burned perfectly from start to finish. Excellent construction. Nice, full-bodied flavors altho a little harsh and astringent at times. It just picked up as you went along though, and I had a problem putting it down. Smoked it down to the nub. Not perfect or the absolute best, but it is really a very enjoyable, first cabin smoke.

Review Notes:
It is rare that I don't smoke an entire cigar - this, however, was one of them. It has an attractive dark, oily, slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins that makes it look inviting and rich. The construction was suspect, though, with several soft spots down the entire stick. Prelight aroma was mild. Easy light. Slightly firm draw. Mild amount of smoke. Flakey gray ash that "blossomed out" as it was smoked (usually indicative of poor construction with a loose roll, at least to me). Started with pepper and spice, which was joined by a leathery note and burnt cocoa in the first third. However, like a sputtering engine, if I didn't draw on it often, it would begin to go out. I like to space my draws apart so as to not "overburn" the tobacco and get a harsh taste. This was not possible here. The flavors became blander and blander as it was smoked, almost as if it was dying. In the end, I tossed it after about the halfway point, as the flavors were negligible and the construction made smoking it most unenjoyable. I bought 5, so perhaps my next try will be better (I never pass judgement on a sample size of 1), but this particular stick was one of the worst I have encountered.

Review Notes:
I used to make a small hole to draw, somehow, it doesn't work on this cigar, so I cut deeper, and the draw is ok and still burn well. the flavor is nutty and full of coffee. the finish reminds me Cuban Cohiba Robusto. it's worth of trying this cigar
