Review Notes: I had to try this Cigar based on it's looks. I was suprised that for the price it was not too bad a cigar. It is not the best cigar I have smoked but for a good E.D.S. it will do just fine. I thought the cap could have been constructed better. The draw was a bit loose. Plenty of smoke, mild to medium bodied. It had a great steady burn. No touch up issues. It held the ash for a good inch .25 and sometimes about two inches. I was able to multi task while smoking this cigar. I at one point left it for 12 min. and still had a great easy draw. No re-lights. It has a very aeromatic smoke. One that will bring back memories of Dad or Grandpa. The taste was toast, hint of pepper, a little ceder but were suttle. This would be a good cigar for a beginner and the cigar lover who doesn't have his or her nose too far in the air. I think it was worth the test and if you choose not to be a brand whore you might just open your pallet to a few different cigars as well as the Don Mateo. Cigars are very much like wine. Everyone will have there own opinions on types, flavors and smells. So be open and try some different ones out there. Greatness is in the eye of the beholder, that is all that should matter. $26 a stick or $2.50, whatever your pallet and or wallet will allow. I would also recommend sticking to the Handmades vs Machine. Long filler vs short. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. I also have based this review on a total of 3 Don Mateo cigars from different smoke shops and times of the day. Ea lasted for about an HR. I was very happy with ea end result. Thanks.

Review Notes: This is really a Mexican cigar. Some I like, some I don't. This one I don't. Go with a Te-Amo and you'll get much better. Go with this and I warned you.

Review Notes: Absolute crap, the cigar tasted crappy, burned crappy and drew crappy. Had a crappy finish too. No better than a Black'n'Mild or the like. Waste of time and cash.

Review Notes: This cigar has very little flavor. Body is too strong. Burns the throat and nose. Stinky. Burned fair. Draw was fair. Forget it.

Review Notes: This cigar is one of the best bargains out there. Not the best cigar ever, but sure worth 2 bucks!!! Mild-medium, significant oil on the wrapper, toasty smoke.
