Review Notes: After smoking two of these now I've concluded it's not for me. This is a beautiful cigar but that's about it. The flavor is one dimensional with an unpleasant bitter finish. I love several Pepin blends -- this isn't one of them.

Review Notes: After nearly a year in the humidor, I still don't know what I was waiting for? A lot of hype about Don Pepin and this cigar. I was looking for a creamy, toasty, but strong cigar, well one out of three isn't that good. The strength was the only thing that was there and not that smooth after a year in the hole. Also, the Serie JJ Belicoso was very one-dimensional. The same strong taste, and not really that good either. I wish mine had the complexity that "Kaisersosei" mentions in the review below. I had some issues with the wrapper being dry an flaky, and the burn was nothing spectacular. I can't recommend this cigar and won't be buying them again.

Review Notes: The flavor profile on this, although complex, was not to my liking. Started off with a strong non-pepper spice, wood and strong leather taste. At midstick the spice receded and the stick turned earthy with a fruity tartness (like citrus.) Doesn't sound bad, does it? The problem for me was in the finish--spice & stale tobacco. I expected something creamy & sweet, but it never came for me. The aroma of the smoke was also very pungent--it chased my wife off the porch (and all the bugs, too!) Nice looking and well-built stick, though. The draw started off very tight, but loosened; straight burn, produced a good volume of smoke. Full bodied and medium strength that built slowly toward the end. Got these in a trade, but I wouldn't buy any more, especially at retail prices.

Review Notes: Immaculate construction just like all Pepin smokes, not a "bad" cigar but just not a great smoke. Sorta one-dimensional. Good flavor, but not much depth.

Review Notes: It's a Pepin just a kick A__ Great cigar.I do agree it may be just a touch mild ..But what they may lack in body is made up in flavor..The only thing I have noticed is the wraper is a bit thin and tens to break at about half way ..Still not a big problem...Try one you won't be disappointed
