Review Notes: I've tried several of these and they've been very consistently good. Like this a little more than other Don Pepin Garcias, but they're all very good. It is reminiscent of the Cubans I've tried. Good flavor from start to finish. Even burn, good smoke. Mainly a medium flavored smoke with some subtle complexities. I'll try more when I can find them at a good price. Guess I've had good luck 'cause I've had none of the negatives cited by others... Definitely worth trying if you haven't.

Review Notes: While it's not quite as revved up as some his other offerings, it is by no means bland and only mild in a relative way (relative to, say, Tatuaje). The draw is perfect, and the first inch or so a bit muddled. But then it opens up, delivering a delightful, subtle spice folded into a creamy rich smoke, with a nutty finish. Get some of that smoke under your tongue on the draw-- it hits some sort of receptor there, I think, and creates a fine buzzing sensation. Look for a five pack at auction, and give 'em a try.

Review Notes: I have had two of these, one fresh and the other rested for about 6 months. I have to tell you, I can't tell the difference between this and some 2 dollar cigars I have smoked. No complexity plus standard cedary taste equals ho hum.

Review Notes: I am agree with pasquale and believe this is a superb smoke but must be kept at a lower RH or the wrapper will crack on you. It does present a very cuban like flavor and reminds me of the Cabaiguan line by Pete Johnson. Just like this one is the milder version of the blue lable, the Cabaiguan is the milder version of the tatuaje. For my money this is the best of the bunch.

Review Notes: A superb smoke. Needs to be kept at lower humidity. Very cuban tasting. A different taste than the heavier Pepin blends. Smooth flavor. Lots of wood and spice on the palate. A very walnut like finish. Much more power after the half way point. Not as oily as his other lines. Perfect draw and construction. A classic. Worth buying by the box.
