Review Notes: This cigar is simultaneously strong and smooth . It puts out layers of rich, creamy and complex smoke. Like all Pepin cigars, these require a rest of at least a month in the humi before ignition. My problem is having the patience to wait it out. Never had one of his smokes that I haven't enjoyed after some down time.

 Review Notes: This is a deceptively strong cigar. Hats off to Don Pepin this is VERY CLOSE TO A CUBAN cigar. I've smoked 2 of these now and gave one to a friend who is an avid smoker, aslo his first DP cigar. Other than an absolute construction disaster on the 2nd one which by the way contined to offer me huge volumes of creamy, nutty, leathurious ;-) wonderful smoke. I think I've fallend in love. So I don't want the constuction issues I had with the 2nd cigar (which wasn't pretty) to overshadow the overall experience I've had with 2 of these now. It's quite simply the BEST CIGAR I'VE EVER SMOKED in terms of Flavor, volume of smoke and the strenth of the cigar itself. A DEFINATE MUST TRY AT ANY PRICE!!!

 Review Notes: I love pretty much all Pepins but this missed for me. Started off tight and didn't loosen up until 1/2 way through. Had to relight over and over. Perhaps because of this poor construction the taste was way off? Little smoke, little flavor, wrapper burst on me. What a disaster. I have one more. If it is better I will re-rate.

 Review Notes: Great looks, draw a bit tight on light but opens up. Good taste but I still prefer a Magnate or a Cuban Classic Belicoso.

 Review Notes: this cigar have a great wrapper, with a wonderful construction. The strength was almost full but more medium. hints of leather threwout. Burn and ash were great. Over a good smoke.
