Review Notes: Interesting cigar. Pigtale cap, cedar wrap, and shaggy foot are interesting features of this series. I've smoke 2 of these now that I received from CI as a freebie on my last order. Both were very well constructed, firm and amply packed, with a good even burn. Their draw was just slightly on the tight side but deffinately not too tight producing an ample volume of smoke. There is some complexity to this cigar. As I recall the one I smoked last night started great flavor wise and then I hit this patch for about 2 draws that was really harsh and nasty tasting, but once through that it really got tastey and had an excellnet earth and leather kind of finning. I smoked it to the nub and I rarely do that so that says something about how good the finnish was. I don't recall enjoying the first one as much as the second so I will temper my review based on my recallection of both with is good to very good.

Review Notes: A beautiful maduro wrapper with a sweet taste. The stick was a little spongy in construction. Average draw and burned fairly well. The thick maduro wrapper might need a touch up every once in a while. Tastes like strong black coffee, think French Roast, Kenya AA, or something like that. Medium bodied. A bit of harshness here and there, more pronounced at the end of the stick. Priced right for what you get. Save it for a morning smoke when you can enjoy it with a good cup of coffee.

Review Notes: I felt the torpedo had some merit but this one falls short by quite a bit. El Mejor! Do something…anything, but don’t be boring. Smoked this stick the day after an Indian SFM, a smoke I happen to think is pretty good and it was disappointing. Looked good, burned well and tasted OK for the first two inches then it took a left turn and all the good stuff disappeared. About ½ ways through this cigar I mercifully put it and myself out of our collective misery. It had a pretty good rest but apparently requires more… we’ll wake it up again in a year.

Review Notes: To my utter amazement, this stick has become worthwhile. My early experiments with these were dreadful. They looked great, but were flavorless. I thought they were hopeless. But now they're what I would consider a morning maduro. A little coffee and cocoa. Once paired with my morning joe, the finish smacked slightly of raisin. Mild, polite, pleasant. They still fall in the "you get what you pay for" category, but it has developed into a serviceable bundle smoke.

Review Notes: Got these from CI for $2 a stick. Their description of these are somewhat true. They do look like a candy bar and makes you want to take a bite out of it! I smoked 3 of these before doing a review. The sad part is that they look better than they smoke. The first one was pretty good - firm but easy draw. Burn was pretty even all the way (only one touch-up) and had noticable coffee and chocolate flavors. The other two were a different story. Both had its share of problems. The secone one had burn problems (tunneling AND canoeing) with less of the coffee/chocolate flavors. The other one burned a little better but about halfway, a strong herbal/floral flavor took over and continued to the nub. There was also a lot of tar that oozed out the head (yuk!). Both ended a little harsh and dry. But all in all, this is a not bad smoke for $2. The rest will go into the humi and hope they get better with some rest.
