Review Notes: The El Rey Del Mundo line remains the single best value in quality Havanas. The kicker is that the quality is excellent, not just good as is the case when most people speak of "value". When young, the Choix Supreme has a very explosive, peppery taste, and seems no better than a Juan Lopez #2 or a similarly spicy cigar. But when matured for even just a year, this cigar really takes off. The flavors are wonderfully complex with "fruity" tastes of raisins, caramel, and roasted cashews. This sweetness is perfectly tempered by a mellow tobacco flavor and general earthy tones. The construction is very good, and even the solid, light grey ash is complex. The wrapper is nothing special, but this is a cigar that is outstanding in many respects; including the price. I am not an expert, but I have been smoking Havanas for over 15 years, and this is definitely one of the best cigars I have smoked. For about $6.50 apiece, it is hard to go wrong with this enjoyable cigar.

Review Notes: Okay, would much rather have a Ramon Allones or Bolivar robusto. This smoke looked great, burnt very quickly. Not strong enough for my taste, light to medium bodied in my opinion. Started off with sweet floral notes, with very mild ginger and other spices. The middle portion was more of the same, but more smooth and well balanced. The last inch and a half had this grassy sort of harsh taste that I have experienced with other El Reys that I'm not too keen on. Maybe the one I smoked was a little young, it didn't seem to have many complexities or nuances of flavors.

Review Notes: Moderately spicy at first, they move quickly to a classically "twangy" creamy, sweet medium bodied smoke with enough character to keep you coming back for more. Fine burn and draw. Been smoking from a box of '03s and looking forward to the '05s.

Review Notes: This is 1 underrated smoke from that ISOM that you can get at a decent price. Its medium bodied, medium flavored but consistently good tasting. I have noticed in the box I am working on for nearly 2 years, they get better with age!

Review Notes: I normally prefer longer smokes, but this was a very good cigar. I received this as a selection from a cigar club and was very pleased. The construction was excellent, with a very smooth draw. The flavor was good and I smoked it as far as it would go.
