Review Notes:
I waited until i'd tried several of these...nice cigar, but sometimes one end is rolled so hard it simply doesn't draw. I find it is the last third that is literally hard as a brick..I mean hard enough to maybe drive nails! I've actually cut 1/3 off and smoked the rest more than a few times and found it excellent. I even ran my wife's crochet needle (she doesn't know) through the middle of one I had cut off and it still was too hard to smoke. Great smoke when someone's left hand didn't roll one end too tight, and it got smoked to the nub.

Review Notes:
I've waited a couple of years and 7-8 boxes worth of smoking this cigar to write a review. In my opinion, you can't rate a cigar unless you've smoked some from different boxes. It's a natural product, there is variation.
Having said that, for me this cigar is a sleeper worth collecting and aging. I've smoked the Larga and the Suprema.
The presentation is really nice. The paper wrapping gives the stogie immediate identification. It's always a pleasure to give one of these to a friend who has not tried one.
The wrapper is always consistent. Dark brown, almost black, and with a oily sheen. A little lumpy sometimes, but for me flavor is king.
Flavors? Chocolate and mild coffee are the first flavors I find, without the usual bite on the tongue that many cigars offer ( I also smoke Rocky 90's, Gran Habano Corojo 5's, and about a dozen other regulars)....the Suprema never disappoints with a great start. This cigar does not smoke like a big-time maduro that makes your head spin, but it does give you the richness of a Maduro. For me, that's a plus. I don't like the nicotine buzz.
The one weakness of these (and the Larga's) is the filler, which occasionally has gigantic veins, literally the size of match sticks. I had two or three in one box that tasted like a burning tire the last third of the stick. But overall, over the course of multiple boxes, that was an aberration.
As far as ash and burn rate, I've never had a better cigar, including $30 Cubans. The ash is white and burns evenly on every cigar, every time.
Bottom line is this is the best cigar on the market for the money, and 90% of the taste of any other high priced smoke.

Review Notes:
Tonight I am enjoying a El Rey del Mundo Robusto Suprema Natural Double Corona 71/4 x 54, Honduran long filler and binder wrapped in an oily Ecuadorian wrapper. Pre-light aroma is absolutely beautiful in or out of the beautiful white tissue wrapper. Toasted her up and lit her up with an incredible free flowing draw with loads of stark white smoke, which filled the room and set off the smoke detector. The Suprema differed from the Robusto and Robusto Larga; however, it had rich semi-sweet chocolate and coffee flavors with hints of black licorice. The licorice is the flavor that set the Suprema over the top. This smoke lasted about 90 minutes. A wonderful smoke that I rate a mid 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. This smoke rivals ANY cigar under $10. If you have tried a better cigar under $10 and actually smoked this specific shape and line please add your thoughts. Enjoy the pics. Cheers!

Review Notes:
Looking through the reviews on this stick it seems that many people hated it. Ash was not as superb as in the rest of the robusto line, but it was freeflowing. Lots of dense whitish smoke. I usually smoke these till I burn my fingers, but it hotboxed at the last two inches. Until then I would have rated this a mid nine.

Review Notes:
I bought a box last year at a Xmas special sale from JR. Have smoked 15 over the last several months. This cigar was an average smoke during the cooler months. A mild pleasing flavour, but with absolutely no complexity, like most Villazorn cigars I have tried. The exprience was much worse when I tried it yesterday, witht he outside temperature around 84F. Just boring and one dimensional, and not pleasing at that. Leaves an aftertaste. Just a big, fat, mediocre cigar, similar to the Excalibur 1 maduro. Too much hype, very little substance
