Review Notes: Excellent draw and burned straight as an arrow. Excellent construction. Rich and full bodied with a nice leathery and somewhat spicy flavor profile. Also noticed kind of a woody type flavor at times.

Review Notes: Full flavor, no burn problems, not harsh, I love these cigars. In the looks department, this is what a maduro should look like. I take mine with Myer's Rum or a good stout.

"After two years, it's getting there"

Review Notes: I'm surprised by how nicely this one has come along. Even with a year of age, these were unbalanced and utterly overpowering. Now, eight months after my last review, the dominant spice has receded enough to allow some other flavors to come through. The first half has a woody backbone, pepper, coffee grounds and a distinct licorice sweetness on the finish. The complexity wanes toward the second half, as the pepper and eventually some charriness take over. Still VERY strong, but it's developing some character to go with the power. This smoke's best days are still ahead of it.

"Settle in, light up and enjoy"

Review Notes: A beautiful cigar, this missile is dark, oily, flawless, very classy and firmly packed. Rich almost intoxicating pre-light aroma. Snip the head, spark up the foot and make sure that you are settled in for a spell. You're in for an experience. Immediately the rich thick flavor will begin to coat the palate with sensations of intense espresso, dark, dark chocolate and some black cherry with a very subdued but essential seasoning of black pepper. Powerful flavor and body, a real full body cigar but with no harshness. The flavor is complex and at different moments one of the flavors will dominate and then another will emerge to catch your attention. The nicotine buzz will begin to sneak up on you and the chair or sofa you're reclined in better be comfortable because you might not want to get up right away (or plotz). Please don't hand this one out to a newby he may initially like the flavor and then end up bowled over. The burn is true and even, nice firm ash and thick plumes of fragrant smoke. Find an appropriate beverage to pair with this stick that is also smooth, robust and perhaps a bit sweet. An aged Tawney Port or Murphy's Stout are fine matches. Settle in and enjoy. Highly recommended.

"Spicy Hammer"

Review Notes: Loads of pepper to start and then goes to coffee and dark chocolate. Oily and dark and that slight touch of sweetness to tease the pallet. Full bodied, sweat beads included. I suggest you eat a decent meal and the price is great for this good of a smoke.
