Review Notes:
Gorgeous to look at, and a pleasure to smoke. It does put off quite a bit of resting smoke, and the draw was tighter than I like on a couple of them, but overall, it is a damn fine cigar for 5 bucks. Nice flavors and body, without making you hang your head out of the window on your way back from the golf course.

Review Notes:
I have had nothing but trouble with Excaliburs in the past. Bad burn, wrappers falling apart, underwhelming flavor... I could never understand the attraction.
I've had this particular cigar (a gift) sitting in my humidor forever before I finally decided to smoke it. And what do you know - it burned flawlessly and tasted really, really good! Lots of sweetened coffee (hints of vanilla? brown sugar perhaps?) and nice, rich smoke. I was a bit intimidated by the RG at first (I usually prefer thinner cigars) but was surprised how "easy" it was to smoke this big boy. It also burned at a good rate (about 1 hour), which in my eyes is a bonus since I don't enjoy chewing for 2 hours on the same stick.
HDM Excalibur I may have wronged you after all, you do make some GOOD cigars! They just need a lot of aging, apparently...

Review Notes:
I was really surprised in this cigar. I have been smoking the HDM Dark Sumatra for the past 3-4 months and totally love the Dark Knight II a whole lot more. I have never smoked such a creamy, smooth as silk cigar. I would have to say that there are tastes of chocolates and coffee. The only problem that I had with the 3 that I have smoked this week is that the resting smoke is way too much, but I will still smoke this cigar, just outdoors.

Review Notes:
Great looks, construction, value, and taste. This has got to be the oiliest wrapper I've ever seen. After initial light I held it like a candle and watched as a small flame continued to burn from the foot. Only complaint I can make is burn irregularities that seem to develop about half way through. Glad I got a box of these, highly recommended.

Review Notes:
Very beautiful cigar. Dark, very high oily sheen.
Contrary to a few reviews, my draw was loose, esp. in the first third, which made it burn a little fast and hot. Burn was fairly even.
Flavors of vanilla, leather, and bittersweet chocolate.
Would try again, hopefully would get a tighter draw.
