Review Notes: I just recently tried one of these cigars I usually like HUpmann corona major tubos so I decied to try this cigar which is the same size but slightly less costly. I was delighted with the burn due to the construction it was medium bodied with a full flavour with hints of cedar pepper and spice. Overall a hidden treasure and a delightful Cuban smoke

Review Notes: I decent, but not exceptional Cuban stick. This cigar (box code BVD 9/04) comes attractively wrapped in the trademark Japanese paper. It sports a slightly mottled appearance with a couple sun spots on the wrapper. Medium veining. Solid construction wihtout soft spots. Easy light. Good draw. Even burn without the need for corrections or relights. Gray black ash. Started with wood and nuts, and then introduced an herbal overtone with touches of wood, flora, and nuts in the first third. The middle third brought an intensification of the herbal and woodsy flavors, as well as raw tobacco. The last third continued with the herbal/flroal foundation and became a bit tannic. All in all, this 45 minute mild-to-medium bodied smoke was fairly one dimensional in that the flavors didn't change tremendously throughout the experience. I don't particularly care for an overly herbal cigar, but those that do will definitely enjoy this one.

Review Notes: This is a great beginners cuban at a great price. Mild and classic cuban taste. But don't pay more than 6 dollars... I get mine for 4 dollars, and at that price it's a must have cigar.

"Great bang for your buck"

Review Notes: Great cigar for the money you will have to cough up. I have been through two boxes over the last year and both were of good quality. Very consistent creamy taste. Avergage in the flavor department compared to other Cubans. The draw is good and the ash is firm. Very easy to burn your fingers with one of these.

"Not a fan"

Review Notes: Why is the average price paid 17 bucks? Somebody add a couple of zeros - this is a sub $5 cigar and tastes like one. I have had a few aged ones recently and am not a fan. Oh, they're decent enough, but are too mild for me. Although these are inexpensive as far as Cubans go, there are many cheaper non-cubans that I MUCH prefer.
