Review Notes:
After seven months rest and a half box smoked, my initial impressions are unchanged. I've had a couple with construction issues (one disintegrated and one was plugged), but the others have been superb. Toothy wrapper glistens with oils. The right proportion of spice and sweetness, slightly bready, and a long, pleasant finish as noted by others. I'm not surprised by the unanimity of the reviews for this one. There's really nothing not to love, whether you started off as a Fonseca fan or not (and I didn't). Given this stick's med-full strength and considerable complexity, I expect it to have real aging potential. What more could you want for two-three clams?

Review Notes:
Little did I know when I smoked my first Fonseca HS, Cosacos that it would be my last cigar with Oscar, one of my two black labs. My best friend always enjoyed me enjoying a good c-gar. I'll always remember the Cosacos for that reason, but also because it rocked. Almost everyone appreciates that Fonesca makes a darn good mild cigar. Their attempts at a stronger version with the "Series F" and the "Vintage" came up short. However, they hit the bullseye with this stick. It's peppery with cinnamon, a very distinct and pleasant flavor. It actually has a good after taste!! If you can ignore the tissue paper it is an attractive, well-constructed cigar. I rate straight "8"s for the cigar and straight "10"s for the dog.

Review Notes:
First of all, for a carona, this sure looked like a Robusto :) Anyway, I am a Fan of most Fonseca offerings and this is still true here. However, this cigar smoked more like a RPatel 1992 than a typically mild Fonseca. I let these rest in the humidor for a month based upon what others had said about the line. The cigar is rock hard, but has a perfect draw and a peppery spice that I was pleased to find. The smoke was aromatic and the price was perfection. This is really a fine cigar at any price. Nice deep brown/red color to the leaf too. Fonseca rocks.

Review Notes:
this aint no corona. more of a robusto, imo. very juicy, light pepper, smooth. best domincan fonseca i've smoked thus far. Medium-full bodied. definitely not a morning or afternoon smoke. keep it for after dinner. a nice firm draw, jwili (just the way i like it).

Review Notes:
A little heavier than the standard Fonseca line, but still very smooth and an all around decent smoke. Solid construction, with the possible exception of a firm draw which might pose a problem if kept at 70% or higher. A woody flavor with a hint of cinnamon and earth makes this a nice everyday anytime cigar.
