Review Notes: Well, I have a sentimental connection to this cigar. The first time I met, who is now my, father in law we went out to his garage to talk and have a cigar. I was a rookie to the world of cigars and he handed me this substantial chunk of rolled tobacco. The woman who is now my wife was in a hurry to leave and I was instructed to smoke it fast so we could leave. To make a long story short I sucked this cigar down so fast that I passed right out! What a great first impression on the father in law! A few years are gone now, and these cigars are my favorite. Best attribute, is the easy draw with tons of smoke! Not all that complex, right out of the box they show their age with the young tobacco flavor showing up on the occasional draw. However, the subtle undertones of cocoa, coffee and cinnamon are forever ingrained in my head! I love these cigars. The spice is just right, they are not overpowering, the are affordable and because of their mellowness they do not leave a bad taste in your mouth for the next day. Good stuff. A great cigar to introduce somebody into the world of "real" cigars. To continue the story, now I have two humi's and am a huge fan of Maduro wrapper cigar from DR and Nic....oddly enough my favorites are La Finca 54 robusto madura after about 6 months in the humi. Give'em a shot. They are the opposite of the GCC's

Review Notes: Smoked in the smoke shack at work. Took about an hour. Volumes of smoke. Woody , Cedar and light spice. had to even out burn once. a good smoke at a good price. AAge does wonders for them. First one was about a year ago. This one was in humidor for about a year. Good smoke. Got a little light headed from it.

"Easy counterfeit to spot!"

Review Notes: Clever marketing in the name is the best thing one can say about this cigar. A very plain mild smoke. Probably a great cigar for a beginner, but for a more experienced smoker, a bit bland. But the construction is great, the presentation is near perfect with a nice natural wrapper. Even burn and easy draw. These are cheap smokes, probably best smoked when you want a smoke, but don't want to waste a premium cigar.

"Counterfeiting what???"

Review Notes: This cigar was given to me by a friend from work. The constrution is above average, for an inexpensive cigar. The cap stayed together while cutting and lit well and ended up with a nauseating nicotine buzz finish that I could have done without. Usually I don't review a cigar unless I've tried at least three, but I don't think I'll try any more. While not a horrible cigar, it doesn't seem to have any discernable character. It just tries to emulate a strong cigar without any satisfaction. I don't think anyone would be fooled into thinking this stick could be mistaken for a "genuine Cuban". I'd pass on this one.
