Review Notes: Beautiful, shiny, dark brown wrapper. Nice construction, perfect draw. On lighting, I immediately got a taste of chocolate and earth. Then I noticed a fruity undertone, almost a berry flavor. Sometimes that fruity-ness took on a perfume quality. Not unpleasant. Stays earthy and chocolatey, dark gray ash hangs on tight. Medium full in body. Consistant flavor throughout.

Review Notes: Sometime you think a cigar is wonderful then months later it flat out sucks! (No pun intended) This one did not! After five of these, (another five on the way), I’m still impressed. They look good are constructed well (maybe the wrapper is a little thin) produce tons of smoke and taste great. Buy some, let them rest a while and enjoy an inexpensive, creamy smooth, medium bodied cigar.

Review Notes: I’ve seen these around for a number of years and for the most part thought it was a joke. But…after reading a few of our reviews figured it was worth trying. It’s been years since I smoked a Cuban stick so won’t even begin to compare the two, but this is a good cigar. Very smooth, I would call it medium bodied with an excellent draw and burn. The taste was very creamy, a little sweet, medium spice and consistent through the whole smoke. I rarely smoke anything down to the nub but did with this cigar. And it was less than $2.00 a stick. I’ve become found of the Afrique but this guy ain’t bad.

Review Notes: bought 5 pack Oct 05, not cazy at first, tough draw and kind of harsh. Put these aside for a year and forgor about them in the humidor. Gave 1 to a friend in Jan 07 wow what a difference, great smell. Of course I had to try one for myself, it really improved beyond belief. So give it a little time if at first your not liking it, as it will improve.

Review Notes: These are much better than the regular genuine counterfeit. I mean the original genuine counterfeit, ya know, the ones in the glass top box. (My uncle's next door neighbor's friend knows somebody in North Carolina.) A nice woody smoke with a creamy texture. Not a lot of complexity, and a bit harsh after the mid-point, but for a couple bucks apiece these aren't too shabby.
