"Deelicious (on a full belly) - Limitada?"

Review Notes: Bought a box of 50 for around $100 with shipping, but I couldn't get the regulars, so I got the 1958 Limitadas (probably the same cigar w/different packaging. I've burned 3 of these now, and absolutely adore the first 2 inches of these beauties. Wonderful smoke volume, complex flavor, nice leather tones, burn is OK, but this is a new box... More time in the humi may mellow them out. A few I've seen were wrapped a bit funky, but they smoke just fine. The aroma is lovely, though. If you get some, be sure and sniff them before you light up.

Review Notes: Picked up a 5 pack from JR. Thought I would take a shot for the price. I do enjoy the regular GCC. Construction was excellent, very well made great look. V-cut that bad boy and pre draw was eartly w/ a slight sweetness to it. Lit it up, gread draw and clouds of smoke. A nice earthy slightly creamy flavor. Sipped a nicce Virginia wine to compliment it. Good smoke. Needs a little age. Grab a 5 pack, it's worth it.

Review Notes: DATE: 2006/XX/XX REVIEWER: Timothy "Texan_To_The_End" Piper CIGAR: Original Counterfeit Cuban SIZE: 5" X 50 ORIGIN: Nicaraguan WRAPPER: EMS BINDER: Nicaraguan FILLER: Nicaraguan SHAPE: Robusto AGE: Unknown VENDOR: Gifted by Pegleg (Thanks again!) AMBIENCE: On the front porch today. 7PM, warm but comfortable, just a bit more humid than necessary. BEVERAGE: None APPEARANCE: Nice looking mottled lightly veined wrapper. A bit heavy and just noticably oily. What I'd call "hefty". PRE_LIGHT: Earthy heavy pre-light draw and a good smell overall. DRAW: Near perfect draw, with just the right amount of resistance that I favor. FIRST_THIRD: Upon first lighting this was very harsh. Mellowed out after three puffs. This is very good tasting, earthy and sort of sweet. After an inch smoked, tiny beads of oil started sweating through the wrapper right at the burn-line. SECOND_THIRD: The earthy sweetness grew but stayed pleasant and mellow. FINAL_THIRD: Stayed very consistent to the nub, no harshness at all. BURN: Nice even burn with a sizzling noise with each puff as the beads of oil burned. ASH: Firm solid light colored ash; no annoying flakiness. SMOKE: Medium smoke volume, but sweet and almost creamy. STRENGTH: Medium FLAVOUR: All earthy and sweetness. FINISH: I was hungry but put off dinner for a half hour just to savor the after-taste of this cigar. SMOKE_TIME: 55 minutes. IMPRESSION: With a name like this, I thought it was some type of joke cigar, but it was very good. I don't know the age on this, although cello looked new, but I might want to get some of these. RATING: 7 out of a possible TEN wooden matchsticks. COMMENTS: As I was surprised by a bad Trilogy the other day, I was surprised by this one, which I was sure wasn't going to be very good from looking at the band. I'd be interested to read what anybody else thinks of these.
