Review Notes:
One of the most beautiful wrapper's i've ever seen. so shiny, almost looks fake. Ash is really dark, brown. Wondered if it was because of the big sheen.
Medium bodied, spice, wood, hay.
Inconsistent burn, needed one or two corrections. Still very good value!

Review Notes:
Bought a box of the Churchills and got a couple Gran Robustos free. Smoked one of the Gran Robustos as soon as they arrived on an empty stomach. Got a little "green". Think it was a little dry and burned pretty fast. Just finished one of the Churchills after letting them rest a few weeks. VERY enjoyable!!! Nice looking, firm cigar. Perfect draw. No burn problems. To me it tasted very spicy with citrus, wood, and coffee flavors. Strong, but not overwhelming, with a nice balance to the flavors. Got smoother and sweeter the farther down I got. Gobs of smoke (checked around the apartment to make sure nothing was on fire!!!). Went out for a moment to throw in some laundry. When I returned, the apartment was still very smokey but the smell was quite pleasant. A respectable nic buzz that didn't knock me over this time. Not an everyday smoke for me, but looking forward to the next one and sure I'll be buying more. Very nice "powerhouse" cigar for the price!!!

Review Notes:
Tried a couple of the #5 Gran Robustos and found them to have the most multi-dimensional flavor of any cigars I have tried. Got pretty light headed towards the end - even tho I typically smoke full bodied cigars. Bought a Churchill today to try and noticed that the wrapper is lighter in color than the GR - thought it might not be quite such a butt kicker. And that seems to be the case. Great flavors with a good draw. Burn was somewhat uneven, but it corrected itself without intervention from me (no worse than some of the Padrons I've smoked). I'll definitely buy one or two more of the Churchills before investing in a box, but thus far it is my favorite of the #5s. This cigar is undervalued and easily worth twice the price I paid.

Review Notes:
Ths brand has continued to impress me. After doing a few Connecticut Churchills, I decided to grab a few of these. My clammy-handed peddlar urged me, "Son, those are very full-bodied..." "Oh no," I thought, "I'm scared!!" But....despite his EXPERT advice, I bought em anyway, cut one right there at his counter, fired it up, and blew the smoke into his eyes, rendering him teary for a few seconds whence I made mine escape! Ok not really, but yea this cigar is worth every cent. Pretty strong, complex, not overpowering. This brand is quickly becoming one of my new regulars. Awesome bargain.
