Review Notes: Finally got a dud. Construction was a bit off as this cigar had an uneven burn. I had to play catch up with the pocket prince (what a great $5 butane single jet flame lighter...I've had this thing for 8 years) The flavor was non-existent. Just a mundane, slightly harsh, one demensional blah tobaccoo flavor throughout. It never got going past this one demension and I gave it every opportunity to as I smoked it to a near nub. The other cigars I have smoked from this box have been great. Hopefully the only bad stick in the box.

Review Notes: Box time improving balance of power and flavor. I've smoked 3 more since my last review in Sept. If there is a better cigar for the money out there that balances a wonderful flavor with power and flavor nuances right thru to the nub, please email me at sleuthe@adelphia.net. I'd like to try it. The Gran Habano Corojo Robusto #5 is amongst the finest cigars out there today for the $. Glad I bought a box. Not for the beginner. Smoke only after eating unless you've got the stomach of a goat.

Review Notes: Excellent balance of spice and flavor, medium to full bodied flavored corojo thats an excellent value. Perfect draw with less than perfect burn, some touchups but nothing to get up about. Overall an excellent smoke.

Review Notes: I like the Corojo wrapper it's spiceness and flavor. The key IMHO of making a cigar with Corojo is to balance out the wrapper with the correct blend of filler. Gran Habano hit it on the head with this one. It's a nice medium-full flavor and the Nicaraguan filler gives the spicey wrapper a power to it's bite. Smoke this slow and you'll be rewarded with a flavor that is almost cherry like at times but can be a great earthy and almost maduro like flavor if you speed up the draw. I suggest you don't smoke this on an empty stomach because the power can sneak up on you. Or you can power house the smoke and enjoy a fuller flavor of the wrapper and get a huge buzz.
