Review Notes: After 20 years or so of very light cigar smoking (a Macanudo every couple months - tried a couple good cubans), I decided to step up to something a little more intense. Bought a Humi and stocked it with El Rays, La Glorias Series 6, Torano 1916 Cameroons, and of course Gran Habanos. The Gran Habano was the last one of the four I tried, and was certainly the most dramatic experience. The appearance is gorgeous, with a beautiful reddish brown and very shiny oily wrapper, it looked like something I should eat instead of smoke. It fired up quite nicely with a very peppery start. This was definitely the spiciest start to any smoke in my experience. Absolutely no bitterness, ammonia, or charcoal taste throughout. It quickly mellowed to the creamiest, toastiest, and most enjoyable smoking event ever. I wasn't paying much attention to the fact that I was hitting this much too hard and much too often because I was enjoying it so much, not inhaling of course, but making a LOT of smoke. Ash was tight and didnít drop for two full inches. Wrapper a little unwilling to burn in some spots, but no big deal. Four to two inches was sheer perfection. At two inches, taste still phenomenal, it began to kick my rear in ways that can barely be described, took me two hours to recover. Aside from that, it was the best smoke I ever had.

Review Notes: Full flavored and spicy, with some sweetness. Fairly strong, so n00bies watch out. Probably my favorite smoke at the moment.

Review Notes: I simply love these cigars. At first I was a little worried because I bought a box of these based on reviews but it was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. These cigars are delicious. It's full bodied without being harsh and has so many subtle flavours to them. Very well done construction though several have canoed and 1 of them (I've had 8 alright) was plugged. I shared these with two of my close buddies and they loved them too! This cigar looks intimidating but really it isn't. It has deep notes of earthiness and leather, topped off with cocoa/dark chocolate, and very nutty. I describe this cigar as one with a very clean taste - I'm never left with an aftertaste in my mouth. Do try these, you won't regret it.

Review Notes: this cigar is a absolute winner for the full bodied smoker. Comparable to a good cuban Partagas Serie D No 4 robusto.

Review Notes: Tried one of these today, very great flavor, full body, gourgeous construction and never turned sour. Nubbed it! Wonderful color and draw...a must try for mature smokers.
