"THE value smoke"

Review Notes: This, to me, is the epitome of the "post-boom" smoke; proof that the pendulum has completely swung back from the days of poorly built, green, bland $7 sticks. When you can get a well-crafted, well-blended, strong cigar like this one at $2.50, it's a damn good time to be a smoker. The wrapper is very dark and oily with unobtrusive veins. Unlike some previous reviewers, I've encountered minimal construction issues. They all draw, and most have burned straight. The flavors are huge. If I were trying to explain "the corojo flavor" to a new smoker, I'd just hand him one of these. There are plenty of good corojos out there, but this one's the poster child. If there's a knock on this smoke, it's that the flavor doesn't change gears. It's all right up front. Minor beef, but if you prefer smokes with twists in the plotline, this one will bore you. If, however, you're looking for reliable med-full body at a price that'll make you feel like you stole something, get a box.

"Follow up"

Review Notes: Had one of these a little over a year ago and bought a box ASAP. Still a good smoke but have yet to have one that doesn't have a burn problem. Aging didn't mellow these powerhouses one bit. Still like them but with the severe problems they are just not what I had the first time.

"Robust but kinda odd"

Review Notes: Robustly leathery and toasty from the start, this cigar added an odd tanginess that was present in all 3 that I tried. It's consistent with the Corojo Robustos that I tried earlier, so I have to assume that it's a characteristic of the blend. Either way, it was decent but the Habano #3 blend is superior at the same price point.

"I love these little guys"

Review Notes: Full bodied, rich and inexpensive. I've found them in a box of 20 for $45. Perfect for when you want a shorter smoke, with plenty of character. I bought these originally for when I didn't have time to enjoy my usual toro sized smoke, but I find myself enjoying them so much that I'm smoking them even when I have time for more!

"Can't beat this!"

Review Notes: This cigar had to be the BEST $4 cigar i've ever had. Draw was a bit loose but i loved the taste and the smell was delightful. Lots of smoke! A very long smoke for just a 4 1/2 inch cigar, (approx 40mins)... I will definitely buy a box of these!
