Review Notes: Dressed in a cedar sleeve, with twin bands near the head, and a red ribbon at the foot, this cigar looks like someone really cares about it. Unwrapping the window dressing reveals a nice-looking wrapper around firmly-rolled binder and filler. But the true colors of this cigar come out in the flavorful smoke. Essences of chocolate, espresso, and pepper weave their way in among the main flavors of leather and wood. This is one of those cigars that is so good for the money that you just want to tell everyone about it. At the same time, you hope no one finds out about it, so that demand (and price!) stay right where they are.

Review Notes: Not being a big Corojo fan I looked at this cigar with longing, the packaging alone makes you want to try this stick. A thick wrapper with good const., a couple of touch-ups were needed in the begining then burned just fine. Along with the spice that defines a Corojo wrapper there are deep and rich tobacco flavors along with cedery undertones, this is a tasty cigar. The cigar starts out on a med. strength, then gets progressivly stronger and turns into a full-bodied flavor bomb. As far as value goes, these cigars are a great deal, less than $2.00 a stick if you know where to look (think C.I.) I do'nt know if I would spring for a bundle, but if you like Corojo wrappers this is a must try.

Review Notes: This is a really nice cigar, the appearance is nice, the quality is really good and the taste is real nice, for the money you have to buy a box or 3 of these babies. They draw well smoke great and cost minimal for the quality of cigar they are. A must buy in my eyes.

Review Notes: Relaxing at the end of the day with a fine cigar is a beautiful thing. Having people you enjoy also smoking cigars near you an be part of that enjoyment. I end up supplying many cigars to people who smoke with me. Which is fine, but it can be hard to guess what a person will like and seeing them throw away an expensive cigar can hurt, even if you never let them see it. I never want to give someone a bad cigar. I like these people. If I would not enjoy a cigar then I do not want to offer it to them. So, I need a good cigar, that I think they will like, and it has to be affordable. This Gran Habano Corojo - Vintage 2002 is everything I need it to be. It has a wonderfully complex flavor and it is not overwhelming. I can hand on over to a novice and feel confident they will enjoy it. I enjoy it. When I am in the mood for a cigar I know I will like, and I do not have the time for my 60 ring cigars that I love, I know I can rely on this cigar for a good all around experience. The more I smoke them, the more I see that occasionally, if you do not continue to puff, the cigar can be hard to keep lit. This is not a problem so much as it is part of the unique character of this fine cigar. I am very happy to have found a cigar I love, and can afford to share.
