Review Notes: I very much enjoyed this smoke. Great construction with a perfect burn and roll. Flavors were cedary and spicy. I will be getting more.

Review Notes: Last #3 from a GH Rothschild sampler. I think I prefer these fresh, as the flavors weren't as vivid this time around. But it is still an impressive stick at any price. Slow burn, full draw. Wood, a little clove early, and a creamy texture to the smoke. Pepper ramps up slightly on the second half. The Corojo #5 is more adventurous, but the #3 never disappoints.

Review Notes: I like the GH line a lot. #5 is OMG great. While this isn't as good... for less than $2 each @ auction, they R Da bomb.

"Fairly good"

Review Notes: These all had an excellent burn typical of the Gran Habano line. Flavor was a spicy medium strength leathery start that immediately turned dry, somewhat tangy and quite cedary. After about the halfway point it turned smoother but with a "unusual" flavor that was hard to pin down. Decent but...unusual.

"Well made but somewhat unbalanced"

Review Notes: Habano blend Rothschild. This is a nice oily looking stout robusto. A slightly veiny and oily habano or equadorian wrapper. The cigar has a nice Fuentesque type band with a second band indicating the blend (Habano, Corojo, Connecticut, with this sample being the #3 Habano). The bunching is firm and this is a solidly rolled stick with a well applied cap. A subtle and pleasing pre-light aroma. Draw is good and produces a nice mouthful of smoke. Initial flavors are very woody and peppery. There is a strong nicotine flavor underlying this smoke and it starts off with a very strong peppery finish. This initially reminds me of a Camacho in flavor and its almost unbalanced nicotine strength vs flavor. The burn is even and the cigar produces a solid med gray ash. I find myself saying that this cigar is just unbalanced. The flavor isnít up to the ligero in the blend. I wanted to like this more as its priced right. Past the halfway point the nicotine kick seemed to die down a bit with the cigar taking on a more woody \ cedary flavor. The last third was definitely the best part of the smoke. Felt more balanced with a nice mix of flavors. It still isnít as good IMHO as a RP Edge, but its cheaper Closest comparison is a Camacho SLR, but I prefer the Edge to both of them.
