Review Notes:
Smelled good, pre-light, lit easily enough, burned fairly well, draw was too loose for my liking and the cigar was 'mushy' in the hand. Taste was ... elusive. Most of the time nothing beyond a grassy/woody taste, and not much of that. Lacked complexity, and body. Glad I didn't go overboard and buy many of these. The remaining one will rest a while to see if it improves, but as it stands right now, there's no way I would pay almost $10.00 for one of these, when I can get two or even three much better sticks for the money. This one is overhyped and overpriced. I would caution anyone considering one to think twice.

Review Notes:
Been meaning to try one of these for a long time, just never got around to ordering some. While going through one of my humidors, I happend to find a PGX I had gotten in a sampler about a year ago. Well, I won't be ordering these anytime soon. First off, the flavor is nothing special. The first half inch tasted ok but after that, bland. Still kept smoking to see if anything would come of it. At about half way through, it went out for no reason. I don't think I've ever had a cigar just go out before however after reading some other reviews, it seems common with these. I relit and pressed forward but got so bored I finally just snuffed it and put it out of it's missery. If these sold for $1.50 they might be an ok mowing the lawn smoke but I'd never pay current prices for these. Over rated and over priced.

Review Notes:
He pretty much hit the nail on the head with this. I also smoked this on after it had two weeks in the humidor, this being from a fiver I got off of c-bid. Draw was a little loose, as was previously mentioned, it was a bit underfilled. Pre-light aroma was very nice. The burn was beautiful, up until the last inch and a half when it started to tunnel, and then wouldn't stay lit. The flavor was very, very nice. Started off a little on the earth side, and had much more body to it than other cigars in this line that I have smoked had. About a quarter of the way through, this mellowed out into a toasty/cedar flavor through most of the cigar. Towards the end, it did become a little charry, but it was still relatively smooth. I really enjoyed this down to the last inch and a half, until like I said above, the tunneling started, forcing me to toss it, with re-lights not solving the problem. Now, I got these for $4.60 per stick on c-bid, which I think is a terrific value. At MSRP, the price is ridiculously out of line. I will knock off some points in the value category for that, but not much, since you should be able to get these at reduced prices without much effort. Another fine cigar from Graycliff, unlike the Legends series and the 1666... But that's a whole 'nother story.

Review Notes:
After having a couple of 1666's I was not impressed, so I let one sit for about 6 months, and I have found that they age to one of the finest premiums on the market. I wish I bought more when I saw sales.

Review Notes:
I expected a bit more for my money from the Graycliff PGX. Not that it's a horrible cigar, but for two bucks I can name a few cigars that are much better. The taste was my major disappointment especially when you consider what you paying. This cigar's flavor is average at best. The taste is hard to nail down and describe to someone. A sort of mild cedar-cream with hints of vanilla might describe it, but that sounds good. The PGX was not very good. The burn and draw were the strength of the PGX. Everyone's taste is a bit different, but for me, this cigar is terribly overpriced for what you get in the flavor department.
