Notes: Dressed in a leathery Habano wrapper leaf from the San Andres Valley, this exciting new blend employs a bold combination of Cuban-seed, long-leaf ligeros grown throughout the volcanic regions of Nicaragua. Each leaf has been extensively aged prior to rolling, but expertly fermented to achieve optimum flavor and body.

"Definitely Different, It's Not For Me Though"

Review Notes: This is a stick that really perplexes me. At first I thought it to be very bland even though the wrapper looked delicious with noticeable oil. At the point it heated up I got some definite caramel taste with a bit of something woody and sweet to a degree. OK, this is actually improving...And, then, about half-way in, I noticed something aromatic in the taste like a weak ACID something. Now the taste profile is getting strange and worse for it. I can't call this mild, complex, or anything but strange - plus it didn't burn evenly. My first and last, I'm pretty sure, Turbo.

Review Notes: Received this in my cigar of the month shipment from CI. I typically gravitate toward more full-bodied sticks, but was intrigued by this cigar based on the origin (Bahamas). In a nutshell, it sucked. Cold, weak burn with very little smoke. Very airy draw and the flavor was like burnt toast with an assload of pepper on it. Barely made it halfway through this terribly overpriced beast.

"Bland with burn issues."

Review Notes: Easy to light and has a light, airy draw. Once lit, it provides a good amount of silky smoke, but it will soon die down and go out unless you stay on it. Burns unevenly and does not correct itself. This is quite a spicy cigar: from the get-go there are very strong notes of black pepper. About an inch in, the intensity of the spice died down, and the cigar became quite mellow. Unfortunately, no more flavors became apparent at this point to replace the lost spiciness. Finish is long-lasting and leathery with some faint cashew notes and a strong woody character. What’s notable is that you will feel the tingling on your lips from the spiciness for quite a while after you puff. Kind of a mediocre cigar. Not much to talk about…it’s just your average habano wrapper cigar with a poor construction that leads to the aforementioned burn issues. It’s also rather bland, and there are more flavorful habanos out there. Singles seem to sell for $12.00 per stick ($5.00 if you get the discounted box off CI). For this price, you deserve much better. Fortunately I got mine as part of a sampler for $2.30 (a much more fitting price). If you can’t get this on a similar discount, don’t waste your money.

Review Notes: Very well constructed and a fairly even burn. Hints if leather and caramel. One of my favorites.

"High hopes, bad results"

Review Notes: Kept it properly humidifed for 1-2 weeks after receiving order. The wrapper split and the filler bulged out of the cigar for a length of 2 inches x half the circumference of the cigar. Smoke production was terrible because of the split. After getting past the split, it was a decent cigar, but a major construction failure like that is highly unacceptable. Even though this experience was horrible, I might try another one and let it sit for a month in the humidor before smoking. Maybe, just maybe, that would help a splitting wrapper. The best thing about this cigar is it's appearance: it *looked* really well constructed.
