Review Notes: The cigar looks good, feels good, and draws good, but it doesn't taste good. It's very bland and peppery with a bitter aftertaste. Reading other reviews for this cigar, it seems that aging may help, mine was only aged for about a month. Overall not an enjoyable cigar. I was only able to smoke half before I gave up.

Review Notes: Great smoke overall. Nice even burn, draw was good. Texture of stick was pleasant, even hints of citrus. Smoke was smooth and tasted great. Would definitely smoke again as an all around medium. Very nice.

Review Notes: I've smoked several of these and I think the secret is to make sure they've aged at least 9-10 months in the humidor. I would highly recommend a year+. Now I know most cigars get better with age, but with some it's just a must. Once aged you can really taste the different flavors in this complex little stick. It also has a terrific burn and a nice aroma. I guess patience is a virtue, and also a pain in the arse.

Review Notes: This is a beautiful cigar from the glass tube to the construction and wrapper. pre-l;ight aroma of the cognac (but not too strong). First 1/3 the cognac came through nicely. Second 1/3 mellowed into a nice mild cedary smoke. Last 1/3 brought out some slight leather and continued with the cedar notes. Cognac was there throughout, but not overwhelming. This was a nice cigar. It lasted me for a short walk to a pub-3 pints of black & tan and a short walk back to my hotel. This was gift for x-mas so I don't know how much it cost for sure.

Review Notes: This cigar was my second experience as a neophyte to cigar smoking. Wow. What a second smoke. This smoke was suggested to me by the individual that selected my first smoke as a little more medium weight smoke. I was highly impressed with the heady, earthy aroma that mixed with the mildness of the cognac, while removing it from the indiviual pack the smoke was presented in. Very easy light, and a well behaved smoke from start to finish, even in the comparatively unstable environment of a truck cab! I enjoyed this smoke so much, I darn near forgot that I was driving! This is one that I would definitely pick up again. The smoke has singlehandedly launched me in the search for a small home humidor, so that I can compare the taste over time of a matured product. I can imagine these smokes maturing in to one hell of a pleasureable experience. Being so new to cigar smoking, I dont feel that I can adequately describe the experience fully, but if you enjoy a medium smoke, this is definitely one to try. I don't think I really detected any peppery after-taste, but there was certainly a hint of spice, reminiscient of the peaty finish of a fine single-malt. The smoke was highly consistent all the way through with only a pleasent, but marked darkening of the flavors toward the finish.
