Review Notes:When I first fired this cigar up I fell in love with the smell…a really nice aroma. The taste wasn’t bad either if you like a mild to medium bodied smoke. The character of this cigar didn’t change. It’s not a very complex stick. There was ample smoke, it had a nice even draw, looked very good and unlike almost all other Gurkhas I have smoked, didn’t come apart on me. BUT, I couldn’t keep the damn thing lit! A cigar stored at 65% over a few months should not be this much work! So my construction score is still pretty low. Gurkhas are just not consistent enough. If I had paid the bucks they want for this stick I would be writing letters to my congress…..person. Would I buy more? I guess but only on sale.

Review Notes:This was my first legend and it was great. I really am partial to toro or perfectos because of the great smoke they have in the middle. This was no different. Tons of flavor including cedar, spice, and a rustic taste that was very unique. It had a tight draw at first, but I clipped it again and I was golden!

Review Notes:Careful with anything Gurkha. I find them inconsistent. Then I get angry because I know this about Gurkha's. My anger increases the more I spend on them. I scored 10 for $30 at auction. For $3 a throw these have been outstanding. Solid construction, burn, draw, appearance. Nice, smooth, mocha-coffee, and spice flavor throughout. Body is mostly medium. These have been aging for about 5-6 months. These have been nice to me. I am happy with these. Tread catiously. Spend your $ accordingly for these.
Review Notes:This cigar is actually very delightful. I've had Gurkhas from other series and have been disappointed by the bitter tastes that they'd accredit to "full-bodied cigars". To this day, few people under stand the differences between strengths, full/mild, and harsh/smooth tastes...
Anyways, a terrific cigar, perfect after dinner to cleanse the palate. Incredibly smooth, leaving no unpleasant aftertaste. Highly recommended...
