Review Notes: A very spicy cigar that'll nock you on your butt these gave me a mean buzz, maybe it's because I hadn't smoked in a month or something but these are strong, nice wrapper and a good taste, they burn a little uneven, but have a nice draw.

Review Notes: Like Ashman states, I too find almost anything Gurkha makes to be inconsistent. Do not pay full MSRP for anything Gurkha makes. If you want to try anything "Gurkha" you should be able to score it at C-bid for 1/3 to 1/2 price. I got these Gurka Legends for $5.50/stick. That written, I must mention that last night's well aged (at least 10 months), rustic looking cigar was one of the best tasting cigars I have had in a few years. (I'll probably have another in a week and it will be average tasting) The flavors were simply outstanding. There were rich, smooth flavors of mocha, leather, milk chocolate, and spice all within a slightly sweet tobacco base. Body ranged from mild to the full end of medium. Aftertaste made me not want to brush my teeth before bed. Burn was a tad uneven, draw was a bit tight at times but opened up fine with some minor massaging. For $5-6 I don't mind playing "Gurkha-roulette" with the Legends Series. Realize the inconsistencies with Gurkha, pay accordingly, and in the end you may be happy with these.

Review Notes: Just kidding. If I pay $19.00 for a cigar and don't have an orgasm during the smoke, it ain't worth it. Fortunately these weren't in that price range. I find Gurkhas hit and miss, the Legend torpedo is a hit. Very good kick and spicy flavor. The body is medium and I look forward to the progress they make with time.

Review Notes: I've tried other sizes of this same cigar which were ho-hum, but for some reason this size seems to let out the best flavor and aroma. I've gotten singles of this and other sizes from at least four different vendors and have found that each time, the Churchill is smoother and more satisfying. That said, it is still a fairly mild cigar for the price and I cannot justify buying this. However, as a gift they smoke great!

Review Notes: I got these as part of a smapler from c-bid. I was excited to give this perfecto a try. The outward appearance was what I would call 'gnarly'. Nowhere near elegant, but at the same time, attractive. The wrapper was veiny and bumpy, and the construction looked a little uneven, but I was willing to not judge a book by it's cover; after all, the pre-light nose was enticing. I noticed that the head was a little tight, so I cut a bit off to improve the draw (something I don't normally do with perfectos). I toasted the foot and then lit it up and things went downhill from there. The draw was still quite tough but it was manageable and the flavor was promising- deep earthy tones with a spicy finish. I was willing to see where the flavor might go after the first third, but I never got there. After about the third draw, it began to run like hell and never came back. The draw got worse and then when I was about to take another bit off the end and fix the crazy burn with a match, the wrapper started to spiral off at the ember. By now I'd had it and I just threw the thing in the ashtray and went back inside. I give another one a chance in a couple of weeks, but for right now, I'm glad I got them cheap.
